Gruesome Murder of Very Rev Fr Isaac Achi by Miyetti Allah Militiamen —Who did this to us Nigerian Christians? -By Nwankwo Tony Nwaezeigwe

Who are the Lions on the pulpit and sheep on the streets? They are all the Nigerian Christian leaders wearing the garbs of Cardinals, Primates, Prelates, Archbishops, Bishops, General Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, General Superintendents, Pastors, Reverends and Evangelists. Why are they Lions on the pulpits and sheep on the streets?

Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi

Nigerian Christians Mourns as Usual in the Hands of their Muslims Brothers

The Very Reverend Isaac Achi did not just die in the hands of Miyetti Allah Militia but a painful death indeed. Where else would a Reverend father be deemed safer outside his Church premises? But Very Reverend Isaac Achi met his painful death at the very place his safety and security were most assured, like many other martyrs before him, and definitely those that would be coming after him; because his case will not definitely signal the end of the on-going heinous slaughter of Christians in Nigeria, unless the Christians of this nation stand up to say enough is enough.

Shall the death of Reverend Father Isaac Achi in such a gruesome manner, the death of Miss Deborah Samuel by horrific stoning, the barbaric beheading of Reverend Lawan Andini and all the thousands of Christians slaughtered with monstrous audacity by the Fulani militia go unaccounted for? The Nigerian Christians are anxiously waiting for the command of their leaders to troop into the streets and let the Miyetti Allah and its militia with the support of their patron-Nigerian security agencies (Army, Police and DSS) kill all.

God forbid that the Christians of this nation will rise against their leaders for indolent and catastrophic leadership. God forbid also that Nigerian Christians will rise up against the Fulani in this nation. What happened in Central African Republic that saw all the Fulani in that country became refugees in other countries including Nigeria and Cameroon will be a child’s play. This is not 19th century. This is not 20th century. This is 21st century. If Nigerian Christian leaders are cowards their members are not. For how long shall we continue to allow ourselves be slaughtered like goats by a band of uncircumcised foreigners on our land?

Why have we the Christians of the Federal Republic of Nigeria allowed ourselves to become willing Sallah rams for slaughter by Miyetti Allah butchers? Is it that we are cowards or helpless by the fact of our indolent leaders who delight to dine and wine with the Amalekites and Philistines while their flocks are kidnapped and slaughtered on daily basis? Or could be the result of our Church leaders being corrupted by the corrupt political leaders—thus chosing to be lions on their pulpits while adorned with the ignominious garb of clawless sheep on the streets?

Who are the Lions on the pulpit and sheep on the streets? They are all the Nigerian Christian leaders wearing the garbs of Cardinals, Primates, Prelates, Archbishops, Bishops, General Overseers, Apostles, Prophets, General Superintendents, Pastors, Reverends and Evangelists. Why are they Lions on the pulpits and sheep on the streets?
They are Lions on the pulpits and sheep on the streets because their acts of the Lion of Judah and Mighty man in battle against those who kidnap and kill innocent and defenceless members of their Churches with satanic arrogance only end in their Churches and on their pulpits. They are Lions on the pulpits and sheep on the streets because they fail to realize that it takes just one day to stop these reckless shedding of Christian blood on their ancestral nation.
They are Lions on the pulpit because they fail to understand the power and authority of the God they serve. They are Lions on the pulpit and sheep on the streets because they have refused to call on all the Christians of this country called Nigeria to troop out en mass on the streets of Nigeria and let the killer Muslim bandits and their Muhammadu Buhari sponsor kill everybody.

Are the Christians of this nation cowards to the extent that they will all stand like Sallah rams while those who call themselves fighters of Allah continue to rape, kidnap and kill their people with reckless abandon, without any record of arrests and prosecution of these heinous culprits for one day?

What kind of life after death and God’s salvation are these Lions on the pulpit and sheep on the streets preaching to their congregations, when the same life they are created to live peacefully in their own God-created land is not assured by the acts of those who call themselves Fulani herdsmen and jihad bandits?

Is it not time for all the Christians of this country to rise up against these atrocious killers of our people and their dastard Islamic leaders who shamelessly act as their undercover protectors? Have the Christians of this country become trees that will stand while it is being cut down? Have the Christians of this country become cows and goats that are led to the slaughter-house without the power to resist? Have the Christians of this country become so hypnotized to the point that the blood of their brethren being spilled on their ancestral land everyday no longer matter to them?

Who did this to us? I mean, we the Christians of this country called Nigeria. Those who claim to serve the Living God; the Lion of Judah; the Mighty man of battle! Those who are commanded to fear not those who kill the body! We read about the Egyptians, the Amalekites, the Philistines, the Assyrians and the Babylonians in the Bible. Let it not be that the Christians of this nation called Nigeria have been conquered by the Amalekites and Philistines.
As King David lamentably put it in his lamentation to King Saul:
“The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen! Tell it not in Gath, publish it not in the streets of Askelon; lest the daughters of the philistines rejoice, lest the daughters of the uncircumcised triumph.”

For how long shall we watch as the beauty of Israel; I mean the beauties of Nigerian Christians are slain upon the High Places? Can the Christians of this country count their dead in the hands of the Muslims of Fulani origin and their religious surrogates since the man called Muhammadu Buhari was elected President in 2015?
The Republic of Rwanda has records of the nearly 800,000 Tutsi victims of their Genocide. Do the Nigerian Christians know the number of their brethren felled by the swords and bullets of these Fulani murderers? How would they know that the number of the Christian victims of this monstrous act of Genocide being perpetrated by the Fulani have surpassed one million counts?

We are talking about 2023 General elections while our people continued to be kidnapped and killed; while many Christians are uprooted from their ancestral homes and confined in refugee camps in their homeland, not as a result of any kind of war, but as a result of orchestrated attacks and killings by Miyetti Allah and its Federal Government-sponsored militiamen. Yet some people in their wildest sense of stupidity think that these perpetrators and their sponsors will go unpunished.
In this country! Our own country! In the name of religion! In the name of Islam! In the name of Jihad! In the name of Fulani! A country our fathers fought to create and liberate from British colonialism! We have a set of people who have the right to kill other people in the name of their religion and the Federal Government does nothing. What is happening to us?

Between us the other Nigerians and, the Fulani, who own this country called Nigeria in the first place? The independence for modern Nigerian State was fought for and won by the Christians of this country. The Fulani leadership was all the while collaborating with the British colonial masters through whom they reaped much of the benefits of our independence and continue to the present with ravenous audacity. Those who led the struggles for Nigeria’s independence—Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe and Chief Obafemi Awolowo were sidelined and confined to second-class political roles. Now we are not only confined to second-class status in our country by these arrogant strangers but made slaves in our ancestral land. O’ God! Save your people!
