Liverpool wants Mohamed Salah to stay despite Saudi Arabia’s interest

According to sources on Monday, Liverpool anticipates that Mohamed Salah will at least finish the remaining year of his contract at Anfield.

According to Sky Sports and The Athletic, Salah, 31, has not indicated that he wants to leave, and Liverpool has no intention of selling.

When the Egyptian was getting ready to replace Jordan Henderson in Saturday’s 2-2 draw at West Ham, he got into a public altercation with Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp on the touchline.

Salah has scored 24 goals so far this season, but since suffering an injury during the Africa Cup of Nations in January, his play has declined.
