Your Excellency Sir, and the Executive Governor of Kaduna State it is with hope and expectation I pen down this very moment my thoughts and experience from the grassroots and the feelings of the expectation of the people living in Kaduna State. It is also with hope and great expectation that the people of Kaduna State are yearning for the presence of Government in areas the government is making effort to reach. No doubt, your Excellency the Executive Governor of Kaduna State is doing his very best to ensure that his cosmopolitanization and urbanization process of his government meets the expectations and aspirations of the people in Kaduna State.

Your Excellency Sir, it is normal for people to get angry with Government when they feel or doubt the expectation they have most especially when they feel neglected and removed from the architectural administrative design of Governance. This anger is not hate, it is anger that is built on trust and expectation. Your Excellency Sir, I can assure you that the expectations of the Kaduna State people from your government is the future they have for you in your political career. The same people you presently govern understands the burden you carry as a leader but their understanding can be made understandably recognized by the efforts you make in ensuring they are not left out in your political benevolence. I hope that Your Excellency The Governor of Kaduna State will critically take an assessment of his stewardship so far and do the unexpected so as to boost his political future we as a people have for the sake of his developmental strides so far in Kaduna State.

Your Excellency Sir, yesterday I went through Trikania and was really so unhappy because of what I saw. The Trikania roads have been neglected and as though the houses over there are sinking to the grounds. I tried to ask questions about the efforts of past government to ensure that the Trikania environs is rehabilitated for good road networks. Your Excellency Sir, I understand the Trikania Roads is not a fault of yours and in fact previous governments have always neglected that very area as if though they are not part of the State. Your Excellency Sir, an administrative decision of yours and an Executive Order from your office could change the narratives; and this is what I say you can do the extraordinary to change the narratives.

Your Excellency Sir, In your cosmopolitanization and urbanization process of your policy framework I understand you are against exclusion but I admire your courage to run an inclusive government both in policy framework and in political engagements but at the same time this should be translated into the realities that brings anger on the people whose hope and expectations are almost dwindling. In my previous letters I have made it known to you that as you make serious effort to balance the divide in matters of road network, I have made very critical demands that would be a matter of extraordinary decisions and extraordinary gain for the general acceptability of your political benevolence which will translate into responding to the wish, will, hope and aspirations of the people. Let the road networking go concurrently and simultaneously in all areas to concretize your principles of inclusion seen in other areas of development.

Your Excellency Sir, the truth is there is no much time for you to remain in office just as you can see one year is almost over and before you know it we are in January again and in less than three years there will be fresh elections. It is time to prove a point not necessary to gain political relevance but also to gain integrity and sincerety. So far, you have a great deal of political relevance and the integrity question is an open question which has a Philosophical underpinning and as such it is difficult to conclude the intensity of your integrity and sincerety because it is believed that within the next three years plus the Executive Governor of Kaduna State can change the narratives extraordinarily so as to put before the people a conclusive question that is yet open ended. Your Excellency Sir, Let the road networks within Kaduna State speak for themselves. It is the road networks that brings about linkages and development.

Come over to Macedonia and help us as the people of Kaduna State cries out needing your help in Ungwa Television, Narayi, Ungwan Yelwa, Ungwan Sunday, Barnawa, Kamazo and other critical areas. I believe and hope that you will not despise the clarion invitation and the consistent and constant expectation of people living in these areas. In fact, your Excellency Sir, the roads are terribly bad and the people in these areas are loosing hope daily and as their hopes are loosing it’s grip they anticipate something to hold onto and that is your political benevolence.

Your Excellency Sir, Let me commend you so far in the developmental process in areas you have done so marvelously well especially as I drive through the town into Kawo. You have really given that environment a face-lift with the presence of traffic lights and the expected security gadgets. In fact, your Excellency, I think there should be a move to increase more traffic lights in critical junctions in the State especially a place like High Cost Junction. On a second thought, if you feel the High Cost Junction might not need traffic lights for now, because I anticipate that very soon you will rehabilitate the road because of its narrowness and considering the linkage between the High Cost road through Sabo. Should you have any plan for the roads then the traffic light will not be necessary for now but should the roads be rehabilitated, please your Excellency have it in mind that there is a need for traffic light to help regulate the traffic often witnessed. I hope the agency whose responsibility is to maintain this areas look into it for the very reason that traffic lights are very important everywhere for it is highly needed for safety.

Despite the peoples anger, the people of Kaduna State are happy with the development you have made to alleviate thier suffering as you recently commissioned or if I may say the development in the transport sector were your government have brought in buses to ease the financial burden of transportation from one end of Kaduna to another. This is indeed a welcome development as it is a realistic and existential progress in which everyone is benefiting. It is a project like this that makes me believe that Your Excellency The Governor of Kaduna is an inclusive Governor. Everyone shall/will benefit from this development and is not excluding of anyone. On behalf of the people of Kaduna State this is indeed a positive response in addressing issues that will bring a lasting impression in the minds of the people of Kaduna State and as well reduce their anger as they hope for greater inclusion of your government.

Your Excellency Sir, still on the transport sector, I am very much aware of a new kind of Uber services in town call the Opay. This shows that your government is indeed attracting investors to Kaduna State. Opay is very convenient and most times some of us decide to drop our cars and do the necessary data connection and call for a pick up; and before you know it, the tricycle comes to your home to pick you up at an affordable and considerable amount. This is indeed another great inclusive dimension of your good governance enjoyed by all.

We definitely know that the people of Kaduna State will enjoy more and as such, despite their anger they are still full hope and expectations. The Anger is necessary, because most times when a child gets angry with the father is not because the child hates the father but because the father has not been able to do what they child wants. It is also possible that the father has not been able to fulfill the child’s desire due to constraint unknown to the child. Until till then, we are hopeful in expectation that these constraints will respond to the wishes and aspirations of the people in Kaduna State.

Long Live Your Excellency Mallam Nasir El-Rufai,
Long Live the People of Kaduna State,
Long Live the People of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
