More Than 800 Plateau Villagers Benefits From Jibhan’s Gesture -By Harun Umar

Jibwis Health Association of Nigeria, JIBHAN has carried out free medical care for the people of Amper metropolis, where free blood pressure check, physiotherapy services, including giving of free drugs, and other type of surgeries, among others, were carried out in the community.

JIBHAN is a non governmental organization under the umbrella of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’ah wa ikamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) which provides medical assistance to the people in need, regardless of tribe, sect or religion.

Speaking at the event, national chairman of the association, Dr. Ismail Abubakar Ahmad, hinged the exercise on the expression of Jibwis love for the community and beyond.

While citing the essence of the free medical outreach, Dr. Isma’il disclosed that a lot of people had died from illnesses that should not have killed them, noting that one way for people to offer help is to start with what they have.

“We did quite varieties of checkups. A lot of tests were carried out. We also did general treatment and attended to people’s questions,” he said.

He added that “many people have pains around their body and so we have physiotherapists on ground to counsel and treat those passing through the pains. Dentists are also available to care for those with dental problems, respectively. In case of surgery, we use our ambulance to transport the patients to Sunnah Hospital, Dengi.”

The expert further called on government and other stakeholders who have the means to make available to every Nigerian health insurance scheme because according to him, many people are battling with diverse health issues, but unfortunately, cannot help themselves.

Expressing joy for the gesture, some beneficiaries of the exercise, Madam Hannatu Sembi, Mr. Iliya Sulaiman and Mama Christiana thanked almighty God for bringing JIBHAN closer to them, praying to Him (God) to continue to uplift the organizers to a peak level.

While narrating their experiences, the beneficiaries said “we were invited for a free medical checkup. We’re here and we were given everything that is needed free of charge.”

Meanwhile, host of the exercise, Malam Muhammad Abdulhamid, who is the chairman of Jibwis in Kanke local government area of the state applauded the youths for offering what they have to people, regardless of their backgrounds, advising them to use the drugs given to them effectively, as well as to adhere to certain measures given to them for protection.

The host further prayed for God’s intervention to the current situation of insecurity bedevilling the country.

The district head of Amper, Nde Emmanuel Jatau in his address, thanked the organizers for holding the program in his chiefdom, urging them to continue to do their well done job.
