My perceptions on the issue of Twitter suspension in Nigeria -By Mubarak Muhammad

You guys are so bold, just of recent, IPOB killed Ahmad G, in Imo state; did you guys do or say about it? I don’t trust you any longer. This is a stark signal that your actions aren’t ordinary, your actions are accompanied by some hidden expedition.

You shall not accomplish it. Just a suspension and not expulsion, why these top diplomats started raising their voices over just a suspension of Twitter operation in Nigeria?

Moreover, virtually every day horror things or mayhem like banditry, Boko Haram, kidnapping, and IPOB members murdering coming about both in Northern and southern parts of the country which is quite disconcerting but those top diplomats remain muted, Twitter is not.
The only subway of communication in Nigeria, one might begin using divergent social media like facebook, WhatsApp imo, 2go wechat, Instagram, among others.

And all the earlier mentioned social media companies exist both locally and internationally. So, in the real sense, diplomats can’t decide what a sovereign state what to do and what not to do.

I suggest that other social media companies that are yet to fall the victim to circumstance should be closely monitored by the Federal Government of Nigeria, to prevent the spread of grapevine and the likes.

Facebook company has suspended the account of the USA former president, Donald Trump. Where are those diplomats that nothing comes out from their mouths, does that mean they undermined the power of President Muhammadu Buhari?

I, finally submit that the President Of Nigeria should stand firm in the course of action.
