The Kaduna State Governor might be faced with serious challeneges in ensuring an integrated community network, but at the same time, he is not left out in doing the best he can to ensure that the people of Kaduna State look beyond their present circumstances and to continously have a renewed commitment to ensure the entire people of Kaduna State share in the same aspirations and hopes. In as much as the Kaduna State Governor knows how the past has been, he is ready to look ahead for a better future for Kaduna State. This cannot be done but with the cooperation of every stakeholder living in the State.
There is a need for a renewed commitment if we must look beyond the past and ensure we heal the wounds of the past not necessary by pretending as if nothing has happened in the past; but that every stakeholder should desire to come to the round table as the beginning in ensuring that the government of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai succeeds not necessarily for any selfish ambition but for the realization of an integrated community were there will be a great deal of political engagement in Rebuilding Kaduna State irrespective of the divide.
In as much as the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government of Kaduna State has good intentions for the people of Kaduna State, this can only be achieved if every political stakeholder decides to see the past as a trying moment for our socio-economic and political salvation that has kept us in Golgotha. Our Golgotha experience should lead us to another Damascus conversion for the common good in Kaduna State. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai’s Government cannot succeed alone unless we all come together to build a civil democratic network of engagement as a quest to assist the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government as an integrated community with diverse and pluralistic realities.
This is indeed the best time to make Kaduna State the searchlight and pointer for economic recovery and for social and political stability. Mallam Nasir El-Rufai might not be the Messiah as expected but he is calling from the wilderness and preparing the way for the people of Kaduna State in his cosmopolitanization and urbanization framework policy to create an enabling environment for the development of Kaduna State. The politically anticipated messianic consolidation of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai can be well consolidated if the Kaduna State people will make up their mind to resist negative feelings, parochialism and trust deficit.
The Cosmopolitanization and urbanization process of Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government is likened to the Magullification philosophy of Professor Patrick Lumumba which creates a community of networking and the diffusion of Ethnicism and religious extremism thereby creating a more civilised society of ethnic integration and religious tolerance. In as much as it is believed that Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has good intentions for the State and the good people of Kaduna State, we understand the fears and exaggerated anxieties of some political stakeholders and political detractors who in thier interrogation of the intentions of the Governor of Kaduna State have come to a conclusion that the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai Government lacks the capacity of competence to lead the state.
Nonetheless, I ask the question, have we engaged the Governor for us to come to such conclusions? What modalities and intentions do we as political stakeholder and detractors have in interrogating the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government? How pure are our own intentions as political stakeholders and political detractors? We are all human beings and as human beings we understand all this grievances and as such we also expect that after the elections the reality of the emergence of the winner should be accepted with maturity and openness pending when the election tribunal say otherwise. As it is, we have a choice to either engage the government in a manner that will make everyone sheath their sword so as to join hands to make Kaduna State a better place to live in or else we ourselves become victims of our own circumstances and at this point we the citizenry and our advisors become ourselves the leadership we imaginary created for our own Armageddon.
I therefore use this opportunity to call on the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government to deepen it’s effort in a manner the impact of this process of the integratization of the community network in Kaduna become realizeable not only through structures and policies but also it could be augmented through an orientation agency that could be created in Kaduna State like the National Orientation Agency. This orientation agency as proposed becomes and enlightenment tool for the Magullification and Cosmopolitanization and urbanization process of reconciliation. This I think might change the narratives of Kaduna State as the Mallam Nasir El-Rufai led government is in constant dialogue, consultation and communication with the citizenry residing in Kaduna State. The aim of this orientation agency is to continously bring to the minds of the good people of Kaduna that peace is possible and the only way forward for justice to be redress.
The state government should make jingles and engage those talents in Kaduna State to use their talents to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Kaduna State people. It is possible to change the narratives. Rwanda changed the narratives despite the heated genocides and Killings, but today in Kaduna State we have a Paul Kagame in Mallam Nasir El-Rufai with the gene of development and a renowned social engineer that will galvanise the State to the next level of community networking in Rebuilding Kaduna State.
