Nigerians should keep hope alive, says Umeh

The Labour Party (LP) Senatorial Candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Victor Umeh, has asked Nigerians not to be despondent as he believes that a better Nigeria was possible with the election of the right leaders by the electorate in 2023.

The top contender for the Anambra Central senatorial seat stated this in a message of Hope to Nigerians on the event commemorating the 62 years of the country’s Independence released by his media team.

Senator Umeh regretted that after 62 years of Independence, Nigeria was yet to meet the expectations of the people, as things have continued to remain difficult for the masses.

He however said: “Nigerians should keep hope alive. A better Nigeria is possible! We have a golden opportunity now that we have Elections by the corner, to choose correct Leaders for the Country. People who will be passionate and have compassion towards the plight of the ordinary Nigerian. We cannot continue with the old order where people have continued to suffer. And this is the time Nigerian people have the chance to choose Leaders by themselves. They will not have anybody to blame but themselves, if they don’t elect a good president in 2023

“The ‘sing-song’ in Nigeria today is Mr Peter Obi and Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed as president and vice president. Mr Peter Obi and his running mate, Senator Datti are the best pair for the Nigerian people, to provide visionary leadership that will correct the ills of the bad leadership we have had in the past 62 years. Though some tried, some failed, we do not need to gamble in 2023, we need to put the correct President on the seat.

“Let us put Peter Obi on the seat as the President of Nigeria and Labour Party, the Party of the masses—the Nigeria workers. That is the right thing to do!

“So, in order to fix the problems of Nigeria, we need to elect the right President in 2023, Mr Peter Obi is the man!
