One of These Days . . . -By Joe Dauda

Even the religious establishment will join in denouncing this little flock of saints. Attacking them will appear like a righteous act to protect the environment and ensure world peace — for the common good.

One of these days, the distance between world peace and total anarchy will be so little there will be a global concord to choose peace based on compromise. The Muslims will be on board, the Christians will be on board, Hindus will be on board, Buddhists will be on board — even atheists will be on board.

The only “saboteurs” and “extremists” who will refuse to go along with this little compromise for world peace will be regarded as selfish, proud, uncaring, stubborn, and evil: no longer fit to dwell in the world.

Remember covid-19?

There will be no middle ground. The whole world will be divided into just two groups — those that want to cooperate and those that would not cooperate.

The problem is that those that will not go along will be so few their refusal to go along will be seen as wickedness. They will be hated — by everybody.

Matthew 24:9

. . . and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

Even the religious establishment will join in denouncing this little flock of saints. Attacking them will appear like a righteous act to protect the environment and ensure world peace — for the common good.

John 16:2

They shall put you out of the synagogues:

yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

Not only will the true saints of God find no safe established church in the whole world, their lives (even in their hiding places) will be in danger and they will be hunted down.

What single thing could unite the whole world (including Christians, Muslims, and Jews) and also be against the commandment of God?

During the covid-19 pandemic, Sunday became a special day globally. Even in India (a majority Hindu nation) Sunday lockdowns became so serious it left one wondering.

For almost 170 years now, the Seventh-day Adventist Church has been warning that, based on Daniel 7:25 (and some portions of 2 Thessalonians and the Book of Revelation) the mark of the beast has everything to do with Sunday. Let me give you just 2 reasons why you should pray and ask God about this (if you are a Sunday worshipper) rather than just dismiss it.

On the 4th of February 2019, Pope Francis visited Dubai and signed a “Document on Human Fraternity” with his Muslim counterpart, the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed El-Tayeb.

And then what happened?

Dubai — a Muslim nation — has now made Friday a working day and Sunday a rest day.

Can you imagine that?

The weekend days in Dubai used to be Friday and Saturday only, and Sunday was a day of work. But, after the visit of Pope Francis, things have changed in a manner that no honest person can claim does not matter.

This thing matters, especially in view of the warning of the Adventists, which is based on prophecy.

For those who sincerely do not know, please hear this: unlike the Protestant Churches, the Roman Catholic Church has never pretended that Sunday is the Sabbath day based on the Bible. The Roman Catholic Church believes that the 7th day (Saturday) is the Sabbath of the Ten Commandments. But the Church says she transferred the solemnity of that day from Saturday to Sunday. And that this transfer is a mark of her authority. If you do not believe me, please ask a properly educated Catholic Priest. Or consider these direct quotations from the Catholics:

“You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day which we [the Catholic Church] never sanctify.” Cardinal Gibbons, in Faith of Our Fathers, 92nd ed., p. 89

“The Catholic Church, … by virtue of her divine mission, changed the day from Saturday to Sunday”. (The Catholic Mirror, official publication of James Cardinal Gibbons, Sept. 23, 1893).

“The Church of God has thought it well to transfer the celebration and observance of the Sabbath to Sunday!” Catechism of the Council of Trent, –p 402, second revised edition (English), 1937.  (First published in 1566)

“By what authority did the Church change the observance of the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday? The Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her Founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant, claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh Day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant. . . .” The Catholic Universe Bulletin, Aug. 14, 1942.4

As rightly observed by the Catholic Universe Bulletin, the tragedy is with Protestants, who have been deceived to believe that God changed the day of worship. However, what God did was not to change the day of worship but warn His saints about this change.

Daniel 7:25

And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Key phrase: and think to change times and laws.

What did God say will happen? Change will happen.

What will change?

Times and laws.

Which of the Ten Commandments has something to do with time?

Only the Sabbath Commandment (Exodus 20:8-11).

End of story.

2.

The second point I want you to consider before dismissing the message about keeping the Sabbath holy (according to the commandment of God) has something to do with Dubai once again.

After Pope Francis visited Dubai, a piece of property was secured and called the Abrahamic Family House. It contains a church, a mosque, and a synagogue.

So Dubai is becoming the city of Concord for the 3 world religions that emanated from Abraham?

And Dubai (though a Muslim nation) now honours Sunday.

Please don’t say you were not told.

And don’t make eternal decisions based on the opinion of your pastor.

Who knows?

Your Pastor may be 100% sincere and only doing what he believes to be true. Why not share this post with him and learn something before making your own decision?

May God have mercy on all of us.

Somebody will wonder why I keep flagging the Sabbath issue. Here is why:

No matter what any preacher says, every sincere Christian understands that bowing before idols is a sin, taking the name of God in vain is a sin, adultery is a sin, murder is a sin — and breaking any of the 9 Commandments is a sin.

But not all are aware that breaking the Sabbath Commandment is a sin and that this sin is at the root of the surprise of the “faithful” Christians Jesus denounced in Matthew 7:21-23. You may want to read Matthew 7:21-23 to refresh your mind about the exchange between these Christians and the Lord Jesus.

Another word for iniquity is lawlessness.

A lawless person breaks the law.

The only law most Christians break without confessing it as sin because they do not recognize it as such is the Sabbath Commandment. Hence the focus on the Sabbath.

Revelation 22:14

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
