The Nigerian Super Eagles moved closer into the race for the 2022 Qatar World Cup Qualifier after claiming a comfortable 2-0 victory over Liberia at Tangier on Saturday, thanks to Victor Osimhen and Ahmed Musa’s well-converted penalty goals

Napoli’s striker Victor Osimhen put the Eagles at the driver’s seat 15th minutes into the game with a spot-kick after Kelechi Iheanancho was brought down inside the box by goalkeeper Boisen de Souze.

The penalty goal proved to be the only difference between the two sides before the break. The Super Eagles got the better part of the whole 90th minutes.
