The Inevitability Of Death And The Question Of Possibility And Curiosity Of Achieving Undying Life -By Abdulrahman Yunusa
Nothing as what God has clearly said it won’t be possible can anyway be possible. Death is an inevitable phenomena that every living things must await to reach their turning points. The religious scriptures has further vividly talked about it, nature has taught us lessons about that for we have been witnessing elderly people, infants, healthy, ill and unborn ones are dying over centuries.
For that alone, I think no amount of curiosity, belief or impossibilities can ever change the stagnant rule of life. For it has been clearly stated religiously and psychologically that he who ever lived must meet his ending time one day. Therefore, imbibing worthless curiosity and belief as one of the famous fiction-science scholar ” Yuval Harary ” claimed that they are working on taming or curing death.
This is something unbelievable, for all the serious and intellectual scholars world have witnessed since the inception of this world, none has ever dream of such deadless life. And if there was any, then by today he should have witnessed himself for he can’t lives over a couple of centuries no matter how healthy, wealthy or shrew he/she is.
And you as someone who believe in the ultimate existentiality of God as the supreme being, you shouldn’t be skeptical over such universal fact of death because you can’t physically pinpoint any living thing that existed over Ten centuries since his creation to date.
We are people of religion, let faith keep driving our reasoning hole else we shall at one point or the other lost it all to something that doesn’t worth even our time talkless of such gigantic thing of Iman.
However when I meet someone that keep insisting on the trial and possibility of such widest dream, my humble response is just like;
The ultimate believe I have for this temporary life is ” Kullu Nafsin Zahiqatul maut and Kullu man Alaiha fan ” these two irrefutable facts are what I subscribed to, nothing else but that. And believe you me there nothing like curiosity or possibility as you say may cure one from dying. Truth is that no matter how long you live, a time shall definitely come in which you will bid a farewell to this wicked world.
Therefore, sense is enough to judge things like this without the importation or eviction of religion, one with sound reasoning capacity won’t ever doubt the imminent of death as long as he live not in an isolation.
Philosophically syllogism can also stand at a better position to prove those wishful thoughts wrong. Let’s go this way :
Every living thing must die
Humans are living things
Therefore humans must die.
Based on the above logic, we can be able to succumb the truth if we can be just to ourselves and our psyche. Experience is something which is part of our life routine, death is also part of emotional things that are experiencing daily, then if that true then we shouldn’t be skeptic about leaving this world.
Finally, this irrefutable fact of ” Kullu Nafsin zahiqatul maut ” ( Every soul shall taste the pain of death
) should always be at the center of our mind while debating on apparent issues as this. Logic is something that can also prove this to anyone, if they doubt ask them to bring their fifth grandfathers alive to live just as we are living now. They can’t for they have answered the most exalted call .
Thus, unless if you are an atheist you will never think of that, though reality will prove your stupidity wrong when your turning time collide with real inescapable truth ” Death ” . May death reach us while we are submissive and loyal to our one and only creator.
Death is inevitable.
