The Jigawa State Governor Elect: Malam Umar Namadi -By MD Suleiman
To remain in the fresh memory of every Jigawa State people let education and health not be politicize. Teachers recruitment must be on merit, equipping and distribution of teaching and learning materials should be done under close watch.
I am using this media to send this messages to the governor elect, Malam Umar Namadi. As an indigene, and a youth who is aware of what become a problems to majority of vulnerable ones. It is right to voice out my opinion and sure will coincide with the voiceless ones.
In my previous article, I stated that the governor elect should focus on key areas such as health, education Agriculture and employment.
Furthermore, health is wealth. There’s nothing could simply be achieve without good health, like wise impossible turn possible when healthcare is improve and sustain.
As a result of this, the incoming government should provide Health facilities to where they’re lacking. Healthcare in the rural areas need an urgent assessment, and a drastic measures has to be taken to reduce maternal and infants death. Thus, health personnel, quality and affordable medicine should be injected to every primary health care centres and set an effective committees to oversee the in and out of the health workers, patients, and essential drugs.
I also suggest that free treatment should be given to the people with serious diseases or injuries.
To make myself clear, there are fatal accident that occurs occasionally in the state, which result in the frequent lost of lives due to the absence of quick medical attention or financial issues. Therefore, victims should be given free treatment in any hospital of the state.
In addition, his Excellency Governor Elect, shouldn’t allow politicians to politicize health and education, since they are the backbone of any societal development. However, the recruitment of health personnel must be on merit.
Moreover, it is grateful to the outgoing government for providing education facilities in the state. The incoming government knew that schools without teachers, without learning materials could only be seeing as mere building.

In conclusion, all civil servants must not compromise their work place. Let promotion aligns with staffs dilligency, punctuality and dedication to work.
