Crystal Ice and Cocaine ( Coke) are Ups, while Heroine, Mandrax Bron Clear are Downers.
When you smoke Crystal ICE” it speeds your brain cells, gives you energy and activate the central nervous system but it damages the brain cells.
They smoke it using a lolly which is like a bottle pipe or bottle straw, while some Inhale and inject.
For a user to quit, he must be taught about the importance of his brain and body organs.
Methamphetamine Crystal ICE” popularly known as Mkpurum miri was invented during the second world war by a German scientist for Hitlers soldiers as it made them energetic, brave, brutal and became sleepless warriors. It also made them ruthless.
It was letter adopted in Americans in the 80s but not popularly famous and know because they where more attracted to cocaine (Coke) which was mostly manufactured in Colombia by Pablo Escobar who smuggled it Ship load to America while in the late 90’s, it became abused by so many Americans up till date.
However, it later spreaded to many parts of the world. Crystal is a drug that gives the user energy so it became famous around the World especially in countries like Mexico, Colombia, West Indies and became popular in Africa in late 2005 up till 2007. Apart from Gateway drugs like Cigarette, Kola and Tobacco, drugs are classified by drug users and peddlers in 2 categories, being ( Up and Downers ).

Many users have lost the comfort of sleep and suffer insomnia which is the side effect of prolonged use of Crystal “ICE” so many users don’t sleep as they stay awake till morning and that the reason we have many prostitute at night on street, Clubs and Hotels.
The effects of this drug are very serious like bipolar,schizoprenia and suicide.
Using drugs is like signing a death contract which the risk cannot be issured as its a time boomb.
In South Africa where our Mother Organization,Youth Against Drug Abuse -YADA is, its commonly used by Gangsters, while in the USA, its a Party drug. Drugs, Substance Abuseand Addiction leads to homelessness and its very espensive to rehabilitate a drug dependence person or Addicts.
Crystal ICE” – Mkpurum mirin usage starts from Experimentation stage, from there, you become Occasional user then to Regular User and later Compulsory user ( Addiction)
We pray our Government sees this as a National Emergency so that Preventive measures and adequate sensitization, awareness campaign and mental education can be spreaded across Nigeria as many Youths are ignorant of the dangers associated with drugs and illicit substance consumption.
