The issue has forced people to go miles order to get water which can result to fatique and lateness to places like market to business people, work to working class individuals and school to students.
Water scarcity is the lack of free access to fresh water by people to meet their demands of cooking, drinking, bathing, washing and cleaning.
The people of Guru area in Bauchi local government let out their cry due to the scarcity of water that they face daily. This has result to difficulties in carrying out daily routines by the residents.
As it is said “water is life” if true,then how can one survive this heat weather without water.lack of water in the area has caused difficulties for residents to meet their basic needs which includes cleaning, drinking, cooking and bathing.
The water scarcity has also deter individuals from maintaining personal hygiene. In this season,one has to bath as often as possible but with the limited access to water, people do not maintain proper personal hygiene.

Also,the environment is at stalk of of being unkempt due to the water scarcity. Inadequate water has also hinder the proper maintenance of the environment which can result to diseases such as typhoid,colerea, tuberculosis etc.
However,the concerned administratives that is the water board assured the residence that presiquite measures will be taken to tackle the menace.
