Why blame Igbos for 1966 coup but not blame the North for the Ken Saro Wiwa massacre? -Aisha Yesufu

Aisha Yesufu took to social media to address a journalist on Arise TV that recently interviewed Shehu Mahdi and posed questions she found surprising and derogatory.

She wrote;

“I was irritated by the question of a journalist to Mahdi Shehu asking if the North has forgiven the Igbos for the 1966 coup. Are we not tired of allowing ourselves to be divided based on the things that do not divide the politicians that use these things to divide us?”
