Actually, we do intend to venture ourselves into it, but our inability to fathom the complex issues around it is what honestly deter us from taking risk of diving into the system for we are not sure of which result we would make when we get involved.

Many hesitate to refer politics as game of interest or game of numbers. while me in particular I must go with Malam Aminu Kano notion where he selflessly asserted, “Politics is a man management “. So long as you have interest in politics and your utmost intention contradict serving people interest or managing people affairs aptly, then what you should venture yourself is something else but not politics.

Well, if I were a leader, I would passionately focus on people welfarism over anything. Their health, shelter, clothing and all other basic necessities are what should be my priority before I move to the other angle. Socialist or communist economic system is all the answer to majority questions of governance and politics. For only under such economic system people interest are well served.

Don’t be perplexed when I say so, I said this, because I’m a victim of the contrary gesture. Now we are living in the world where every leader is narcissist, they claim to be leaders yet running away their uprimary duty which is serving our interest as at all cost. Then with such kind of men can we still be owk with those deceptive men eying our votes, I think we shouldn’t.

And even if to say the players in that real are relatively good, then the intricacies of having bad element as actors beside them is what often makes the game looks brazenly terrible. Nevertheless, it’s the influence and unethical act of those subordinates ( Stake holders ) in the course policy formation and implementation that ruin the image of their masters and failure to get fired at a due time by their Boss is what consume the political might of their masters.

For this reason I helplessly come to a point where I left with no choice than to fervently hate power vehemently. Of what essence power will serve my interest when I couldn’t afford to meet the demands of the majority with the resources we have ? If I couldn’t let my people enjoy their resources directly then power is a poison to me.

Methinks there is no filmsy excuse that could henceforth be accepted by the poor masses when agent of perfidy used treachery to win their valid votes at the poll. Because electorates are getting wise enough for the lots of unfavorable incidences that are emerging day by day are giving them lesson worth learning.

Notwithstanding no matter how bad people turn to be, there is possibility of having rare people of excellent personality but the problem is that, they are always striving hard to hide themselves from people, thinking that they don’t want to be exposed in the world of politics which is care is not taking it would consume their hard earned colorful reputation.

Then what can we do to figure out men of honor to trust them with our mandates as representative in government circle ? Though we know that when the wise and educated men abscond power, they would surely be governed by the worst set of people among them and thereby pay the price in hardship.

Let’s do Justice to ourselves by fishing out people with leadership qualities, vision and zeal for delivering selfless service to humanity, integrity can be included but it shouldn’t be the top attributes to consider while recruiting leaders. Meanwhile, when talking of leadership attributes we shouldn’t be lure by people over zealousness for it has been said that people who yearn power madly, deliver a very terrible result.

Moreover we should be diligent and vigilant in choosing who to lead us, because poor leadership kills not only people but it contaminate the society holistically to an extent that no angle could escape to pay the price of mediocrity and ineptitudeness. Always, be focus on who to choose and if possible ask them present you a guide that you will follow to assist you deliver well.

Above all the interest of the electorate should top your priority as a leader, be social while making and executing policies that would touch their lives directly in a wrong way. Be with them, console them and show them sense of belonging and if the condition sounds unbearable use your personal saving to cajole until when things are over.

They couldn’t never fit to forget you in their life, even if you are no longer with them, take Yar’adua of a blessed memory as example. When he was serving he experience a massive hullabaloo from Nigerians but what happened after his demise, people fail to forget him for the good he gave them when he was serving them as a president.

Therefore be often fond of giving and listening to your people commotions, act aptly the way they will be coax, talk to them a in a persuasive tone that they will feel love and concern from their leaders, that will earn you and unflinching respect and love from their eyes. Leadership is a game of shrewd fools can only satisfy themselves but not their people.

Finally, Don’t forget to be sharp while having affairs with your enemies for you have all it takes someone to champion their hearts with power and influence. Give them chance and treat them wisely. Join hands and move the society forward with no discrimination
