Why Pope Francis Asked Zelensky To Accept Defeat And Negotiate -By Joe Okechukwu

In a statement that mirrors the reality of the Russia-Ukraine war as it stands today, Pope Francis asked Kiev to accept that it has lost the war, otherwise the defeat will continue.

The Pope stated this in an interview with Swiss television where he was asked about the Russia-Ukraine war. In greater detail, he stated:

“I think that the one who recognizes the situation is stronger, he thinks of the people, he has the courage to “raise the white flag.” Today, negotiations can take place, with the strongest international forces. The word negotiation is a word of courage.”

When told that people in Ukraine are already reporting the possibility of raising a white flag, the Pope added,

“When you see things are not going well, you must have the courage to negotiate. You may feel ashamed, but how many more dead people is needed for all these to end? A negotiation must be made in time, with the help of another country that will function as the mediator. Today there are many who want to mediate. Turkey has proposed itself, as have many other countries. Don’t be ashamed to negotiate before the situation gets worse.”

On his part, Zelensky said that while he wants peace, he will not give up any ground. The Ukrainian peace plan (which is a non-starter) calls for the withdrawal of Russian troops from all over Ukraine and the restoration of sovereignty to the Russian-occupied territories. Of course, there’s no way Russia will pull out its forces and do what Ukraine is asking it to do, given that Russia never gives up a land it has fought to take. Also, Ukraine is in a place of weakness and don’t have the luxury of flamboyant demands like that.

FOR THE RECORDS: When this whole war started in February of 2022, Russian soldiers moved at lightning speed and in no time were all around Kiev. At that time, the Zelensky regime signaled its readiness to negotiate. Turkey was gonna mediate and negotiations were billed to take place in Turkey. Russia agreed and decided to order troops back from Kiev. That’s what happened. But when Russians were pulling out of Kiev, the mainstream media establishment owned by the same folks who sponsor and fund Ukraine, suddenly began making a joke of Russians, saying they thought they could take Kiev in two days and now they have met resistance and are shamefully retreating. That wasn’t the case. They were ordered to retreat to give peace a chance. Research this and confirm for yourself.

Well, when the time came for the deal, Zelensky abandoned it! Why? The very unstable former UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson was asked by his globalist handlers to head over to Kiev to and tell Zelensky not to sign any peace deal with Russia. He did as ordered and Zelensky obeyed as commanded. So the peace deal died.

From the time that peace deal died, more than 200,000 Ukrainians have died. Now, after all these “human sacrifices” Pope is out front calling for negotiations. Why? Because they have lost the war totally. And like I said in one of my posts, if things continue on this trajectory, Russian flag might be hoisted in the center of Kiev by May of this year, and a former Ukrainian soldier agrees.

Maybe this is why Poland’s leader has now gone the way of Macron by also suggesting there might eventually be NATO boots on ground in Ukraine, when he said “The presence of NATO forces in Ukraine is not unthinkable.” They’re desperate – because you know, this loss is really not Ukraine’s loss. It’s the loss of the NATO alliance and their American ally. It’s huge and they’ve got to figure out how to swallow it hard or slide into deeper errors to save face.
