The aide-de-camp (ADC) of former Kogi State governor Yahaya Bello was ordered to be detained by police force headquarters because he refused to provide information about how the former governor escaped from his Abuja home, where EFCC agents were waiting to apprehend him.

Remember that when the EFCC besieged the house’s entry, Kogi Governor Ododo, who succeeded him, visited the residence, stayed for a while, and then departed, bringing with him rumors that Yahaya Bello had been smuggled out in the governor’s vehicle.

The claim made on Channels television that former governor Yahaya Bello was not transported away in Governor Ododo’s automobile was, however, refuted by Kogi State’s Commissioner for Information, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, who claimed the story was being promoted by special interests.

According to sources, she was contacted as a part of an inquiry to find out how Yahaya Bello left the residence and whether or not the officers were involved at all.

“The investigation is to reveal what she knows about the escape of the former governor and where he may possibly be”

The FPRO neither picked calls nor responded to sms/whatsapp messages
