Yelwan shendam is a town situated in the southern part of Plateau, with a population of more than fifty thousand people, living in common gold and interest, shares the same culture and Norms, but is heterogeneous in nature!

A well historical town that suffers communal clashes that claimed hundreds of lives and properties, Yelwa had a series of unrest that occurred event after event, but currently living in peace and prosperity.

Yelwa is a commercial environment where which have contributed to GDP to Nigeria ( Gross domestic product), because it is an environment that invests heavily in Agriculture, mining, and Other trending businesses.

But sadly, Yelwa’s Traditional throne is vacant for over thirty years, Government after government have passed away with our votes but failed to fulfill our demand, in fact, we are living with no king or emir to look after commoners, this is why I asked Our local authority, “Am I living in my nation or IMAGI-nation?”, owing to the fact that our situation in Yelwa is getting out of hand!

We cannot continue like that, we cannot endure seeing our children grown up without knowing the history of Yelwa kingdom, and we cannot tell them we are living in an anarchy community …..
