“If we don’t end war, war will end us ” H G Wells.

Well, as i often embark my discourse with this expensive quote whenever we come across a hazy social saga in our country, its therefore, to note people that the repercussion and after effect of violence is always black. And to further inform the wise people that the flame of violence and injustice can easily be discarded by the water of fair/Just treatment and mutual understanding of each other.

Ideally, Peace can only be retain in a terrain where it elders, soothsayers and elites openly romance the body of justice. Anything apart from being just to the people mingling with, is a louder gesture toward inviting the calamity and all sort of social mistrust.

Indeed the killing which recently took place in Oyo land is quite condemnable act but the way some gullible are trying hard to justify this heinous/animalistic action in the name politics and ethnic bigotry is more disgusting. And this is a signal that in no longer time people will start throwing away the peace accord of which have been established by our founding fathers in Nigeria.

Let’s be sincere to ourselves, how on earth, a well discerned mind will cling to glorifying evil acts in the pretense of politics and be still flaunting to be educationally sound and socially clubable. Therefore, this is rationally invalid and cognitively illogical to be backing any act of injustice or any move aim at creative social mayhem in our peaceful communities.

Well, it’s extremely implausible to make a wrong stereotype against the Yoruba speaking for the evil gesture made by their senseless folks, for its indeed a wrongful decision for anyone to condemn all people residing in that particular region but those imbecile deserved a vehement bash and outrageous criticism from every respectful man.

Truth be told upon any, its indeed a fact that Yoruba are among the most intelligent people in Nigeria but that alone wouldn’t make them to be intellectuals for intellectuals often engage themselves in doing anything helpful to all irrespective of showcasing a tribal, religious or any sort of racism in the name tribalism and other nonsensical cynicism. They also never involve in anything unimportant, they didn’t look down to any, they contribute a lot to the development of man and his society and they always have a sumptuous wishes upon anyone.

But the way they recently appears to the generality of Nigerians reveals their hidden color to the world of peace and security. If not so, then how a mere community policing men would have the full audacity to challenge an old lasting peaceful relationship between the two giants tribe in one area with the aim of eliminating the Fulani men from their jury without pondering on after the effect of their shenanigans against the herdsmen.

It’s high time, if they mean well for themselves and country at large, the Yoruba elders and their state governors to boldly call for the abolishment of this worthless ” Amoetekun ” of a thing. And to point and accusing finger to the perpetrators by calling them to book. Therefore, that’s the possible move can ensure an everlasting peace in the country.

Because the Fulani speaking people are now in high temper of what the senseless armed of Yoruba land did to their people in the name of community policing or community vigilante. And if they failed to exercise their power judiciously to let the evil men face the wrath of the impartial law of the nation, then they are openly beating a war drum which possibly consume our harmony.

And to the FG, it’s better for them to fast intervene in to this hot issue for if they didn’t put and end to this game of threat against two Nigerian giants tribes, then the outcome results will not be possibly wanting and favorable to the both parties and Nigerians for none will escape the villain wrath of violence in Nigeria.

The earlier, government get involved, the better for them to settle the matter at it lesser stage, but when they foolishly allow things keep escalating, then lamentation and sending of condolences to victims of the circumstances of which they have no little of share to the rumbling matter.

For peace sake, let Amotekun get abolished and for unity sake met sanitize our hearts and furiously fight the bad eggs among us who are always wishing a calamity to befall upon our sacred souls. Meanwhile, We can only achieve a better society when try to set our differences aside and treat everyone as our part.

May peace reign well in Nigeria.
