When the U.S Senator John McCain stated on an international cable network, CNN, that “We shouldn’t have waited for a practically non existent government to give us the go ahead before mounting a humanitarian effort to rescue those girls”? He said this on CNN. I asked, what exactly was Senator John McCain on?

For the purpose of those who don’t know who Senator John McCain is, i will gladly introduce him to you in a nutshell. Born in 1936, John McCain currently represents the State of Arizona in the United States Senate- an office he has held on to since 1987. McCain retired from the Navy as a captain in 1981 and moved to Arizona, where he entered politics.

Following his election into the U.S. House of Representatives in 1982, he served two terms, and was then elected to the U.S. Senate in 1986. Since then, he has “Robert Mugabe’d” his way through 4 elections returning him to the hallowed chambers back to back. In 2000, he joined George W. Bush in the battle field to run for the U.S Presidency but was butchered at the Republican primaries. Eight years after, he resurrected and managed to secure his party nomination at the 2008 Presidential elections only to be whooped mercilessly by Barack Obama of the Democratic party.
He was digraced at the polls with a 365–173 electoral college margin loss and a 53–46 % knockout in the popular vote. Since then, he has carried Barack Obama on his head and criticized every move of his administration.

Back to the matter at hand, how can a man who failed woefully to win the votes of the American people 2 good times muster the courage to refer to a democratically elected President’s administration as a “non-existent” government? What does Mr. McCain know about governing a country?
