2023: PDP will limp into Aso Rock, I’ll not join them however —By Chima Christian
I have however decided that I will not take up any active role in the party’s presidential campaign. I have also decided to reject in advance any post whatsoever in Atiku’s government if it is eventually formed. Moreso, I’ll not aspire to, nor accept nomination into any party position in the PDP while Atiku’s government subsists.
I have concluded my meditations on 2023. Judging on competence and popular agitations for a breathe of fresh air, Peter Obi remains the most credible candidate in this election. He will have my vote and nominal support.
I however see PDP’s Atiku Abubakar limping to the finish line. Atiku knows his limitations. I sense that he will compensate for those with the execution of this election with near-mathematical accuracy.
My stated disagreement with Atiku’s nomination by my party the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) stands. I am considering several options, including resignation of my membership of the party. No decision has been taken on that as yet.

Having campaigned for Atiku in 2019, I still believe a substantial part of we said about him during that campaign to be true. My opposition to his candidacy at this time is majorly on the grounds of fairness and equity.
I wish Nigeria well.
Africa’s morning will come.
