Chika’s maiden Novel I’M NO DEAD YET, a love story reminds me of my youthful days in the secondary school when I was usually submerged in my interest to read every title of James Hardley Chase novels.

Beyond my expectation and imagination , it is not easy for me to figure out how he carefully articulated and packaged the setting, the plot, and the numerous characters; from Obi and family including Theresa (Tessy) and their friends, and wrapping it with Nina to the end.

The style of writing using the tool of Suspense in regard to what happens next, gives the reader no other choice than to continue reading to find out.

The Book is simply a masterpiece of its kind, especially in these days when there is perceived lackluster among young people towards reading and writing. Chika’s effort gives some hope that our up and coming youth can, and have a bright future for the emergence of the likes of Chimamandas of this world.

I see this book as a challenge for Chika and other young people to acknowledge the need and brace up for efforts in creative writing, just as this book has revealed his mettle.

He deserves the encouragement of readers both young and old to spur him to becoming a world class creative writer and a legendary author of our time.
