He also noted that, “There is nothing new under the sun, including persecution. The prophets before us, they were all persecuted. Look at our Master, Jesus Christ. As Nigeria joins other nations around the world to welcome the New Year 2024 today, a Nigerian religious figure and blogger, Pastor Isaiah Ogedegbe, has come up with a New Year prophetic peep into 2024 Christianity in Nigeria.

Speaking in Warri today on January 1, 2024, the man of God has predicted that Christianity in Nigeria will witness religious persecution this year; but Christians shouldn’t let it dampen their joy, because their “victory is sure.”

His words: “Though persecution will come, our victory is sure. Whether you like it or not, when you are at the top, you become the topic. When you are making progress in life, some people will be envious or jealous of you and then persecution will come.”
