A Special Message For My Beloved Muslim Readers -By Joe Dauda

Islam teaches that He did not really die and that He was taken to heaven before the Romans could crucify Him. Islam also does not accept the fact that Jesus is the Son of God in a way different from Adam and every other human being that has ever lived. Their concern — and it is a legitimate concern in my view — is that, without a wife, God cannot father a child. On this point, Islam is closer to the truth than Christianity because they take the Bible as it reads: at least they understand that Jesus must have proceeded from God for Him to be called the Son of God. Let me clear this concern by sharing a revelation that majority of Christians are not even aware of. And this is one of the main places in the Bible where you read the pre-incarnation history of Jesus Christ.

Most parents will die for their children without the slightest form of hesitation. If an armed robber threatens to kill a 4-year old boy, the father of that boy will actually be begging the armed robber to kill him instead and spare the life of his little boy.

Begging to be killed . . .

In order to save . . .

Someone you love . . .

Point to Ponder

If this type of absolute love pulsates in the heart of a mortal, sinful, and naturally selfish man, why is it difficult to believe that, in dealing with the sin problem — which demands blood or life as sacrifice — God will not hesitate to give up His only begotten Son to come and die for the sins of the whole world?

Advertisement

The good thing is that virtually all religions — including Babalawos and Mamalawos and pagans — understand that blood is often required for sacrifice. Fortunately also, the faithful practice of Islam involves the killing of a ram at certain times every given year. And, as an informed Muslim will tell you, this practice is in imitation of what father Abraham was commanded to do.

All that is needed is to take this belief a step further.

Why did God command father Abraham to sacrifice an animal?

Can an animal die in place of a man?

If a murderer is determined to shed blood, can you offer him your goat?

As a matter of fact, all of these sacrifices pointed to Jesus Christ, whose existence, virgin birth, and miracles are all seconded by the Qur’an. Not even the most committed enemy of Christianity can deny that a certain Jesus of Nazareth lived in the land of Israel in the early decades of the millennium before the last. The Romans have their recorded history confirming the role of the Governor of Judea at the time — Pontius Pilate — who was the official that authorized the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Why will God perform a miracle by allowing a woman to become pregnant without ever knowing a man?

What role was such a man born by this divine miracle meant to play?

But God already pointed to this through the life of Abraham, whose son was born by a miracle and a direct act of divine intervention.

How can a virgin give birth?

Who is this man born of
a virgin?

Is He just another prophet?

Then why the virgin birth?

Other prophets were born in the usual manner.

We are thus compelled by our sense of reasoning to wonder why Jesus — if He is not in a class all by Himself — should be born by a virgin.

John 1:29

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

I believe it is a fair proposition for my Muslim brethren to ponder upon the virgin birth of Jesus, which the Qur’an teaches, and find out why God will perform this once-only miracle.

The truth of the matter is that Jesus is that perfect sacrifice for our sins (represented by the innocent lamb) and, if any man comes to God on the basis of the merits of Jesus, he shall be saved.

The dreadful question I urge you to think about is this: what if Jesus Christ is actually the Lamb of God that taketh away the sins of the world? This means the consequences of rejecting Him will be catastrophic.

John 3:18
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Unfortunately, Jesus has been misrepresented by the 3 major religions of the world that are all connected with father Abraham — Judaism, Islam, and even Christianity.

1. The Jews refuse to accept Him as Messiah;

2. As the personification of wisdom, Jesus said, in Proverbs 8:22-30:

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
When there were no depths, I WAS BROUGHT FORTH; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:
When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:
When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;

To conserve space, this is the fact: God brought forth Jesus out of Himself. And if you are completely confused about how this may have happened, God told Jesus that They should make man in Their image. But what did They end up making? Two creatures that are similar and yet different. That’s Adam and Eve.

How did Eve come into existence?

Advertisement

It was similar to the way Jesus came into existence: she was, in a sense, brought forth out of Adam.

Genesis 2:21-22
And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Paul the Apostle highlighted this sequence of existence by stating:

1 Corinthians 11:8
For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

This means that the man did not come from the woman, but the woman from the man.

Jesus is the Son of God not because God had a wife but because Jesus was brought forth by God — similar to the way Eve can be said to have been brought forth out of Adam. Through Eve, man procreates; through Jesus (the Word) God creates. Without Eve, man cannot procreate. Well guess what:

John 1:1, 3
In the beginning was the Word . . . and without him was not any thing made that was made.

God did not create anything without first speaking (the Word) as proven by the story of the creation of the world in the Book of Genesis.

3. As for Christians, more than 99% of them, not knowing the pagan origins of the Doctrine of the Trinity, teach that Jesus Christ is equal with God. This is in spite of at least a dozen categorical statements like the one below which Jesus made by Himself.

Advertisement

John 14:28
Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father:

for my Father is greater than I.

Some people, determined to sustain the false doctrine of the Trinity in spite of the clear evidence above from John 14:28, will say it was because Jesus was on earth that He admitted that the Father, Whom we refer to as God, is greater than Him. But that theory cannot be sustained because Jesus made statements that are even more categorical — after He ascended to heaven.

Revelation 3:12
Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God . . .

Paul the Apostle made the matter clear as crystal, with no room for conjecture.

1 Corinthians 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Advertisement

Summary:
One God; the Father; Source of all things
One Lord; Jesus Christ; channel of all things.

In total disregard of the above clear biblical statements, the majority still holds on to the popular but false doctrine of the Trinity. There is emotional comfort in believing what the majority believes but a wise man knows that only the truth matters, in the end. This piece was written for wise people who know that the truth is more important than consensus. Remember: the road that leads to life is said to be rough and narrow. Truth does not have to be widely accepted.

As far as the Bible is concerned, the true relationship between Jesus Christ and God is exactly what was reflected in the relationship between Joseph and Pharaoh.

Advertisement

After His resurrection, Jesus said all power in heaven and on earth has been given to Him. Logic dictates that the giver and the given cannot be of equal rank. Now listen to what Pharaoh said during the coronation of Joseph as ruler of Egypt:

Genesis 41:44; 40-41

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.

Advertisement

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, I am Pharaoh, and without thee shall no man lift up his hand or foot in all the land of Egypt.

Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled:

only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

Advertisement

Indeed, in the throne, God is greater than Jesus. The Bible says Jesus sits on the right hand of the throne of God. But it is God Who actually sits in the centre of the throne — not right or left. Nevertheless, when it comes to the exercise of power in the universe, all power has been given unto Jesus. In eternity, the only authority Jesus will be subject to will be that of God. Perhaps you never knew the Bible says so:

1 Corinthians 15:24, 28
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.
And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Summary: the Son shall also Himself be subject unto God.

Advertisement

The above quotation completely destroys the doctrine of the Trinity. And the challenge is clear: if you believe the Bible, you can’t also believe the doctrine of the Trinity which claims that Jesus is equal with God. You just read that: deep into eternity, Jesus will be subject to God and God will be all in all.

God is definitely the all in all; He is the final authority and there is no way of biblically sustaining a belief in a tripartite arrangement of Divine Personalities jointly ruling the universe. That doctrine, in spite of its popularity, came from paganism. God is holy and God is spirit. So the name of God’s spirit is the Holy Spirit — simple — but that cannot be an entity separate from God. The Holy Spirit is not autonomous. What God wills, His Spirit does. It’s an intrinsic part of His nature.

It is OK for you to refer to me by my father’s name. But when push comes to shove, I will let you know that, though I have my father’s nature, am called by his name, and can do whatever he can do, he is still my father and he is greater than I. The Nigerian football star, Austin Okocha, is content to be called Okocha. But when push comes to shove, he will tell you that his name is Austin and that the real Mr. Okocha is his father. So you can call Jesus whatever you like as long as you understand His official designation as the Son of God.

Matthew 16:13, 15-17
When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, . . . whom say ye that I am?
And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Did you read that? Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God!

So, as you can see, there is an award ceremony that has not yet been organised on earth. Jesus Christ deserves an award as the most misunderstood Personality in History. As at today, only a few people believe what Jesus said about Himself and what the Bible teaches about Him.

Advertisement

*He never said He was equal with God;
*He abundantly said He is the Son of God;
*He categorically said God is greater than Him;
*He categorically said that eternal life comes from knowing the only true God and that it was the only true God that sent Him;

John 17:3
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

*The Bible categorically teaches that, like Adam was the head of Eve, God is the head of Christ.
1 Corinthians 11:3
But I would have you know, that . . . the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

Advertisement

*He is called Lord, but this is because God highly exalted Him and gave Him a name above every other name in heaven and on earth. No wonder He is called Lord to the glory of God.

Philippians 2:9, 11
Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: . . .
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Food for thought for all the physical and spiritual descendants of father Abraham.

Want to know the nefarious purpose behind the doctrine of the Trinity? More information is available on request for free.

NB:
Don’t let anybody or any church blackmail you by saying things like: You’re not a Christian because you don’t believe in the Trinity. First ask them where the word, Trinity, came from. Ask if it is in the Bible. If they eventually search the Bible and can’t find it, ask them to explain what it means. And remember that God said:

“Come now and let us reason together”. Isaiah 1:18.

Advertisement

So don’t let anyone tell you that the Trinity cannot be explained from the Bible but should be accepted anyway. God said you should use your reasoning faculty and any man trying to bypass your reasoning faculty to cause you to swallow something is probably trying to deceive you.

Most Christians who read the Bible do not believe the doctrine of the Trinity, especially because of the words of Jesus Himself. But then they close their Bibles and come to the outside world and see that each and every “Man of God” whom they respect is saying that the doctrine of the Trinity is biblical. This situation is tough to deal with and except you insist on thinking for yourself, you will simply ask yourself if you can be correct while every other person is wrong. Giving in to the popular opinion becomes the safest thing to do. But the truth is the truth, even if only Noah and his family believe it; even if only Lot and his two daughters believe it; even if only 144000 people (out of billions) believe it.

Extra
If you believe the Bible, you will not be too surprised by the many troubles in our world today. And you will know it will get really bad before it gets better at the second coming of Jesus Christ. For those going through one trial or the other, just call upon the name of the Lord. He is merciful; and He hears; and He will respond. Amen.
