A stitch in time saves nine”, is a proverb that means taking timely action to address a small problem can prevent it from becoming a larger problem later on. It emphasizes the importance of being proactive and addressing issues promptly.

This proverbial term has given a room for individual, government, and others to take a proactive measure in undertaking or addressing an issue especially the pressing and trigger issues that requires immediate actions before it elevates to higher problem in future.

In the case of Nigeria we failed to understand that problem is not been solved by talking, but by addressing and do a follow up along with monitoring and supervising to make sure things is been done at the appropriate time.

In Agricultural sector of Nigeria the people involved failed to shaping idea of putting the farmers first by providing their tools or equipments needed for the farm in order to have a huge investment during harvesting. This issues become pending to a point that the Agricultural sector and products in Nigeria became irrelevant and we depend on the importation of foods from another country which is very cost for the Nigeria citizens to afford, instead of at the initial time the government should have take the Agricultural sector a very serious project so that the higher level of hunger today won’t be emerged.

In education aspect, those that went to school back in the days their tuition fee, accommodation, feeding, were not exorbitant compared to the way and manner it’s now many people said someone can go school at any time but as its now someone can’t acquire what you haven’t gotten before because the economy is hitting harder on the citizen so tell me how can someone who can’t afford three square of meal prepare himself to go back to school? when someone find it difficult feed himself/herself?

Economically, it’s has affected each and individuals in the country because of procrastination of things needed to be done but procrastinating it has caused us failure and even not to be able to do it anymore.

The economy setting has affected the Agricultural sector by not being able to afford fertilizer, pesticide, and other chemicals to enable farmers produces abundant products for living.

Politically, the political setting is deteriorating because of leaders that set agenders to achieve during the time spend in office but unfortunately the aim isnt achieve because of procrastination of things that need to be done at the right time and not done.

The political shere the idea of God-fatherism is another issue that has been right from time immemorial and everyone thinks it will help the citizen rather destruction. A ruling governor that seem to picks someone after his regime in order to cover his shit during his regime is another way of a new Government or governor not achieve his aim even when he set the goals to achieve he may end up procrastinating it untill the whole time is been waste.

Humanly, Taking down to humanly shere you come to realized that certain things has to be done at appropriate time, because changing of economy, political, education, and others may affect your plans and ways of doing things.

In summary, Doing anything at the right time help one to achieve the goals because the economy setting and others factor won’t wait for your inability to do things at the right time.
The adage that say” A stitch in time save nine” should be adhere and follow up in our dealing while aspiring to achieve the goals set before us.
