The Chinese supermarket inside the China General Chamber of Commerce in Abuja, the capital of the country, has been blocked by the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.

Remember how Nigerians had protested against a Chinese supermarket’s discriminatory policy that excluded them?
The supermarket only let Chinese nationals who were residents of the nation enter.
Nigerians who live inside the complex can access it, but those who live outside do not shop there, according to Shaibu Sanusi, the facility manager.
This came to light when retail employees responsible for facilities revealed that the supermarket’s owner had left.
The majority-Nigerian employees revealed that when the Commission’s agents raided the store on Monday, the supermarket’s owner had left.
According to the employees, Cindy Liu Bei, the Chinese owner of the supermarket, and her family fled on Monday at 8:26 a.m., as seen on the closed-circuit television camera.
The supermarket was then shut down by FCCPC officials.
