Akala And The Conspiracy That Brought The Difference -By Olayinka Ajila

If he had spent two-straight terms he probably wouldn’t have been this relevant.Perhaps he would have been like the many others whose history have no place to record their position. Unlike them however, there is nothing controversial about the fact that Alao Akala is a distinguished fellow amongst the list of Oyo state governors both past and present. Although in 2011, quite a number of people were blindfolded by the words of some do-or-die radicals to make them see him for negation. Yet, he stood big, strong, and mighty like he appears, and was able to run an excellent race.

Alao Akala has not changed since the conspiracy that led to his fictitious defeat. He has remain gallant, humble, and peaceful as usual. This is the same life he has always wished the people of Oyo state. But one thing has changed however, and it is the fact that people can now see behind dark shades what they never saw without a goggle. This ideology i would relate to the words of my ancestors that said; ” it takes either of the couple a broken relationship to identify the position of their ex”.

Now that the people know what Akala stands for, who again would say good-life is far from the people of Oyo state? Who will fool the people again and make them fabricate a weapon against their selves? Who would say that it has been fun in the past four years without Alao? These are some of the questions that the 2011 conspiracy has provided indisputable answers to, and we need no prophet to make us understand why the people cry for Akala’s return.

I am not here to convince anybody but to expose everybody to a man-of-the-people. If we can be loud when we see wrong, then, i believer nothing stops us from being louder when right is just everywhere around. Both the old and young, strong and weak, the handicapped, destitute, affluent and pauper, and to crown it all, the unborn child chant no other song but the return of the native son.

I speak with the voice of man but i listen with the ears of the gods. Sentiments apart, i have not in this present day democracy seen a man that has been so loved by all forms of faith. This to the extent that one can no longer determine his lovers by their beliefs. The Muslims want him as well as the Christians who are of his own faith. The traditionalists are numerous in their numbers and if their is any other faith i have seized to mention, I know they are likewise as much as others. What a good luck for a good man! But if i am to be realistic i would say the genesis of it all is God the almighty and good, selfless, and caring soul bestowed on this man who deserves to be so encouraged. Forgive my exaggeration as you may think, but this is one man who stands tall among his contenders in this 2015 Oyo state gubernatorial elections.

There have been campaigns all over Oyo state but like my father would say; ‘” there are men whose presence anywhere swallows other men alike”. This is the kind of man in Alao Akala when if you are familiar with his campaign rallies or whatever. All other parties put together are just not the equivalent of half the Alao Akala’s. Even the members of other parties most times cant just help but join the crowd to appreciate a man of excellence. This is because his focus for the state is big, his manifestos are perfect, and his achievements have not for now been conquered.

Let me lay it straight that ‘we’ would not be forced to fight anyone even as they have pressed for such happenings. Alao Akala is a man of peace and has strictly instructed all his lovers and the Labour Party members across Nigeria to shun violence. He was further quoted to have reminded us of his genuine acceptance of the 2011 defeat by noting that he never caused any violence even when he was under the pressure to do so.

This is my own voice however, and i will say it that by their intentions, positions, and ambitions, we shall know them.
