All Saudi Arabia Wants For Sallah -By Joe Dauda
Joe Biden likes to say he is a supporter of Israel. Here is a golden opportunity for him to do something significant for Israel’s national security. A peace deal between Israel and Saudi Arabia is a big deal and would put a spanner in the works of Iran’s diplomatic chess game, which has turned the geopolitics of the Middle East upside down.
1) US Defense assurance agreement to protect the Saudis.
2) Free trade agreement with the USA.
3) Saudi Civilian nuclear programme guided and supervised by the U.S.
If this is done, they will have no problem signing a peace deal with Israel. I’m told that the peace deal they recently signed with Iran does not include a clause forbidding a concurrent peace deal with Israel. Smart Saudis. 😀
The above was what the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia (Mohamed bin Salman) said to Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, when Lindsey Graham visited the kingdom days ago.
Notice that there was no mention of the Palestinian issue in the three conditions listed. For the Saudis, a peace deal with Israel is not about anything Israel has to do for the Palestinians but what America needs to do for the Saudis. And MBS has stated this in crystal clear terms. Since President Joe Biden is good at signing Executive Orders (he signed at least 20 on his first day in office to ensure, among other things, that America was no longer the largest oil producer in the world) I guess he can equally sign an Executive Order before Sallah and give the Saudis what they want so they can sign a peace deal with Israel.
