Anambra 2025: Soludo Gets ₦200m Boost in Carnival-Like Homecoming to Isuofia
Governor Chukwuma Soludo received a ₦200 million donation from his hometown, Isuofia, as supporters rallied behind his APGA re-election bid ahead of the November 2025 Anambra governorship election.
Governor Chukwuma Soludo received a hero’s welcome in his hometown, Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area, during the grand finale of his governorship campaign on Wednesday — an event that turned into a colorful carnival of music, dance, and community pride.
In a major show of support, the Isuofia community donated ₦200 million to strengthen Soludo’s re-election campaign, marking one of the largest single community contributions recorded so far in Anambra’s political history.
Addressing the enthusiastic crowd at the Central School Field, Governor Soludo urged residents to turn out massively for the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the November 8, 2025, governorship election.
“Election day is not just about choosing leaders; it is about choosing the future we want for our children and generations to come. Let us come together and show the strength of our community,” Soludo said.
He emphasized the importance of voter participation and grassroots mobilization, highlighting his administration’s developmental strides across the state.
“We have accomplished so much together, but there is still more work to be done. Your continued support is vital for us to reach our goals,” he added.
Several community leaders, including Chief Evarist Ubah, Engr. Fidelis Okafor, and Engr. Ifeanyi Ifemelu, publicly endorsed Soludo’s re-election bid, citing his accessibility, leadership, and dedication to grassroots governance.
“Soludo has shown unwavering commitment to our state. We must stand by him and ensure he has the mandate to continue his good work,” Chief Ubah stated.
Engr. Okafor, President General of the Isuofia People’s Movement, praised the governor’s leadership, saying, “His dedication to grassroots governance has transformed the state and projected our community positively.”
Governor Soludo’s homecoming rally not only strengthened his political base but also reflected the unity and pride of Isuofia people. With over ₦200 million in community backing and widespread support, Soludo is positioning himself for a strong re-election bid in the upcoming Anambra governorship poll.
