From Emadike, Emago, Emakalakala, Emegai, Epebu, to Ewam, Ewoi, Igbo, Imiringi, Iyakiri, Kolo, Obakilolo, Obelebiri, Obuaba, Ogbia, Ogboama, Ogireyankiri, Okiki, Okodi and Olobiri, Ologi, Ologoghe, Oluaganagu, Onuebum, Opume all of Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, communities stood still for Governor Seriake Dickson and gave him rousing welcome as he went round on a familiarisation visit and consolidation of his campaign as he reclaims his seat as Governor of Bayelsa State.

Like the Biblical story of Zacchaeus, the man, who for his diminutives could not see Jesus from the crowd, until he climbed a sycamore tree, many people had to go to the top floors and nearby elevated platforms around the community Square to catch a glimpse of Governor Dickson.

It was a carnival of sort, as the crowd, in their colours, sang and danced to express their inestimable joy over the continuity of a governor that brings smile to the faces of the people.

Large crowd gathered to give the governor and his entourage singing and dancing to welcome him to show solidarity to him and assured the governor of their total support to vote him for a second term come December 5, 2015.

The APC hasn’t gotten a candidate that can win the governorship election. No wonder all the good people and communities are clamouring for the re-election bid of the countryman governor.

We call on all the good people of Bayelsa State and to vote massively for the man that has brought peace and progress to the once unsafe state. Only time will tell when we shall celebrate the continued enthronement of good governance.
