Education is one of the stepping stone for social mobility. Those who embraced education at early time experience the change of status, position and add value to themselves and their families.

Education also changes the mental ability, personal appearance and attitudes of a person permanently, enhence his or her perception and social relation among others.
Besides, education maintain its true definition among the middle and upper class citizens, while lost its relevance and purposes among the lower class people, at primary, secondary and higher institutions due to the sentimentality and mawkishness of government at all level.

In the past time an S.S.C.E holders were valurized and must put hands in almost every formal event in the society. Opportunities big or small open for them. Those who are lucky enough grasped and used it, often they are the one helming the affairs of the present Nigeria.

An N.C.E holders who were very few and were seeing like a diamond. They are absorbed into nice position at states or federal levels, good salaries, allowances and remuneration are paid to them gracefully.

There was a time I knew, a politician in our community declared the demand for any B.Sc or H.N.D holders to recruit them into a joyful vacancies regardless of party affiliation. The information passed through whole the town, but there was no single person who met that requirements and at the end went to those who prepared for it somewhere else.

Equally, there are countable number of colleges of education across the country and many centres running N.C.E programs, graduating teachers, among whom many are unfit for teaching, particularly those centres that have no sufficient lecturers and materials for their academic activities. At end those ineligible persons are recruited and deployed to teach in our primary, and secondary Schools.

The degree awarding institutes such as Federal, states, privates and affiliation centres add to the number polytechnics producing graduates yearly who at the end remain jobless.
The accreditation of universities polytechnics and colleges of education by N.U.C, N.C.C.E and N.A.B.T.E.C respectively have made it an avenue for making money. Not considering the fact that even if government doesn’t fund education very well, their action and inaction matter alot in the kneeling down the system to the floor or vice versa.

Nonetheless, a degree certificates was the meal tickets for those who opportuned to earn it. Before was null and void by the outgoing president which resulted in the evolvement of rate of unemployment among the sons and daughters of the vulnerable Nigerians.While the same qualifications offer the Elites’ son a huge rewards such as an electives or appointive positions like rep at federal level, states governors or senatorial chairs as we have seen in the recent general elections.
