Hate Buhari, hate him hard…By Abdullahi O. Haruna

See, one of my fundamental and inalienable rights is my love for Buhari, because it’s a natural right, I can go to any length in protection of that right. So if for whatever reason you don’t like Buhari, don’t come to my wall to vomit your bile against it, it will amount to infringing on my right. Remain on your wall to paint the man in the colours of your venom.

There is nothing I will tell you about Buhari that can make you love him because from day one you have programmed your mind against his existence, same way, there is nothing you will tell me bad about Buhari that will make me hate him. The two of us are right in our choice, so, as civilised persons, let’s try to respect our rights.

Some feeble minds called me a blind follower of Buhari,
Some called him my demigod,
To be frank, you all are right,
I am deadly obsessed with the man and this dates back to history,
Whether president or not, I remain unapologetically a Buhari man.

See, I am qualified to be appointed into his government, I didn’t get that opportunity but that never affected my love for him, my love for him is beyond mundane considerations, it’s an intractable value thing. So, when you call me names and think I will be offended, hell no! I derive much joy being associated with Buhari.

There is so much Buhari in me that I named my son Muhammadu Buhari, whenever I see my son, I luxuriate in joy because in my house there is a junior Buhari.

Muhammadu Buhari, like any other mortal, is a byproduct of fallibility, so he can never be perfect but you still can’t rule out the fact that he is also a good man. Your hate for him is not enough for me to discard my love for him.

Feel free to tear in shreds his shortcomings but do that with decorum and respect for those of us who don’t have same feelings as yours, anything outside this is bringing out the ghetto in us. Hate Buhari, allow us to love him pls.
