The people are suffering while our politicians are spending money lavishly in the ceremony and the people you are controlling are suffering, yet you found it so difficult to take your own part in reducing the high rate of unemployment and the incessant cases of human trafficking and child abuse in Nigeria.

human trafficking

It’s an indisputable fact that human trafficking and child abuse has become so prevalent in our contemporary society which is actually illegal in every country including Nigeria and it goes against the religion, culture, and tradition of the inhabitant of this country.

The reason human trafficking is so common in our society is because of the high rate of unemployment in the country which our leaders show less concern to it. The graduates and non-graduates have no job, the parents found it so difficult to cater to the welfare of their children and everything is hard in this country which has pushed some people to struggle their ways out of Nigeria with the intention that they will make it if they leave this country.

Unemployed youth has chosen this child abuse and human trafficking as a business whereby they will mislead the innocent people and lure them to follow them to Lagos or Portharcourt in order to use them as a prostitute, and slave and they will be working there every day as a slave and their parents would be in a state of disorder, worrying about the whereabouts of their children.

Greediness and Laziness are among the reasons why some teenagers left home without the consent of their parents to go and do slavery in another state or another country as the case may be and the government and the parents have done nothing to curb this menace in our society.

The youth need to be enlightened on the consequences of engaging in such act and should warn them to raise alarm if anyone wants to lure them to travel with him or her for the purpose of doing works that would be fetching them a huge amount of money, this would go a long way to curb this menace in our society.

The police should make sure that all the people caught in the act of human trafficking and child abuse are apprehended in order to face the wrath of the law. The people are suffering while our politicians are spending money lavishly in the ceremony and the people you are controlling are suffering, yet you found it so difficult to take your own part in reducing the high rate of unemployment and the incessant cases of human trafficking and child abuse in Nigeria.

In conclusion, It’s in my humble submission that when will Nigerian youth be free from poverty, unemployment, human trafficking, and child abuse that has become the order of the day in Nigeria. We are called the leaders of tomorrow but our leaders didn’t take any step to curb this menace and the major victims of this child abuse and human trafficking are the youth and small children who will be regarded as the leader of tomorrow. I am using this medium to plead to the government to try their possible best to put an end to this menace in our contemporary society.
