I am change

You might have heard of me, as you grew from year one to now. I’ve walked with you through every step you have made. I may not be seen, no not too loud to be heard, But I’ve managed always to direct your every step to where, what and who you are now. I may be tough sometimes like when I try to make you see a different viewpoint from what you have been used to. You may be amazed how I manage to know what’s always better. Well, I’ve been around for a long while and I am so experienced to know what I offer always is better. If I were human, I should have been accorded celebrity status. I am the one word in everyone’s lips. Daddy, mummy and everyone watch out for me. Everywhere, and on everyone, they often look out for my effect.

When I’m really good, people tend to celebrate. I often see people dance and sing applauding my arrival. But when I turn sour, my name’s always marred with blames and hurting stains. I live in people but not everyone. I choose those to whom I bestow my godlike infinitum characteristics. When such persons effect me by their actions, they often live in the hearts of others who make them like gods.

I have travelled across the world. From America, across Europe to Asia, every race has had a feel of me and I still find time to return to untapped and undeveloped Africa. I am not proud. So much as America experiences me; Africa should and is experiencing me. The rich find me a friend and the poor too. I’m humbled by my sheer popularity. I am audacious, daring every known theory, law and standard. It is I who ordered and enabled the creation of such laws and I can defy them at will. For me, there are no standards. I love to exist amongst people and in places that are receptive to my approach.

I am a master of masters, a king of kings, one to whom the greatest men attest as incredibly powerful yet almost inexistent. I’ve mastered the future perfection and I’ve made it mine. I am the only conclusion for perfection. In me you can never be correct, you can never be perfect. You have to continue working ad infinitum.

I am purposeful and bear such defiance against any current style or pattern. I am always looking for better. Best never exist in my dictionary. If it did, then I’d never exist. I manage to ensure the keyword is better. By this there will certainly be improvements from what is. Nothing and no state can ever be best.

I don’t just jump at acting. Some person has to invite me. I love to give my labour some big regard so that some person does not place a negative tag on me. If you invite me, I’d come whoever and however you are.

Some persons use me wrongly. They brag about me and think they can impose or impact me by the mere mention of my name. They are wrong. I don’t work because people mention my name; I work because people work in my direction. I am a gift for hard-work. If you work hard, I come naturally. Hard-work attracts me. I don’t make noise about my arrival, I’m always clear enough for everyone to see. I steal unnoticed and end up becoming the cynosure of all eyes. I give bragging rights. If you want to brag, work towards inviting me.

You’d carry your shoulders high and no one will disagree. I am a light any where I’m found. You will always be announced and the focus when I’m around you. I attract attention.

However your situation may be, I’ve got an answer. Are you sad? I am around to make you happy. Are you sick? I’m around to make you healthy. Are you poor? I am around to make you rich. Whatever situation you find yourself, I am always there to whisper comforting words.

I necessarily do not have a set pattern for my existence. I may rush in or I may take a long time. You can be certain however of my existence however long it takes for you to experience me. I am always at work.

I am just a six letter word. I am change.
