My Nigerian Dream 2015 -By Rees Chikwendu
A dream of peace that cannot be blown away by the careless wind of war
A dream of law and order that cannot be washed away by the tide of election violence
A dream of progress that cannot be smashed on a hard flint by terrorism
A dream of a land where corruption will not be eating away our laughter
A dream of a time when our boys and girls will be cherished and protected
Where kidnapping, rape and murder will not be called to mind
Where justice will be the shining beckon of hope for all
Where I can trust my neighbors – from south to north
And divine sun rising to teach the love of neighbors
Where rational minds will lead to calm impetuous tides of backwardness
Where adults and leaders will learn to care for children
A dream of a nation where all men are created equal
