Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, popularly known as Omah Lay, has made a shocking assumption he had about his colleague, Davido.

He confessed to the assumption he has had about Davido holding animosity towards him.

Recall Davido recently spoke about his love for Omah Lay’s songs with Kai Cenat, the American content creator, who visited Nigeria.

Davido entertained Cenat with Omah Lay’s song “Reason” as they were leaving the club to go to Obi’s House.

The ‘Unavailable’ hitmaker also drew Cenat’s attention to the song, saying “Listen to this. This is Omah Lay”.

In response, Cenat praised the ‘Godly’ crooner, adding that “I am scared of you bro”.

Taking to X, Omah Lay said he had always thought Davido disliked him.

“I’ve always thought OBO hated me!” he wrote.

Omah Lay began his music career at the age of fifteen.

He rose to prominence in 2020, following the release of his two smash singles, ‘You’ and ‘Bad Influence’.

Omah Lay has continued to build a reputation for himself in the Nigerian music business, particularly with his distinct musical style.

In 2022, he said he struggled with depression while writing his debut album, ‘Boy Alone’.
