Insecurity: Katsina Youths Call Governor Masari To Resign -By Muhammad Sani Isah

I will like to use this medium to call the attention of Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari on the current security threats bedeviling our dear State.
I believe you are fully aware of the situations but yet we haven’t seen any measures from you to tackle the menace.

The security threats in this area are growing extensively in terms of rampant kidnapping, killing, terrorizing as well as destruction of farm products, food items and other valuable items which became daily business in Katsina.

Yesterday I had a report that over 40 peopled were kidnapped in Wurma village, some part of kankara local government and yet the government and other security agencies did nothing. Many people are homeless, leaving their respective homes and farmland, unspecified number of women have become widows and children now orphans and the concerned authorities as well as some self-acclaimed human right activists remained muted on the saga.

Mr Masari, we have told you before and we are telling you again that we have lost confidence in your leadership as governor of Katsina state.
We must voice out our grievances even if it will cost us our lives. It is my advise that you honourably step aside so a more competent individual can take charge and bring this banditry and insurgency to a halt.
