It Was Never A Mistake, But A Form Of Insecurity -By Abdur Rahman Suleiman Idris

We are not ants, we are human beings and our lives should be respected and protected no matter what. I am calling upon the Nigerian Government and the Military to take measures on this and pay the families that were victims of this. My fear is when the NORTHERNERS start to take law into their hands which is not going to be funny.

Our lives are now valueless, we are living in an era where our government did not know the value of our lives. The instance that happened in Tudun Biri, a part of IGABI local government area of Kaduna State, was totally incorrect and there is nothing like mistake in it. The Nigerian MILITARY is actually a very good one, the men under it are hardworking, always up and doing, but what was the offence of the people of TUDUN BIRI?.

People were on a religious occasion when a drone strikes and release a bomb that blasted the gathering, within that time of grief, anxiety and sorrow, trying to take the casualties to hospitals, another one strikes again for the second time. Many people were killed, many were injured, and many women turn widows, many children orphans, and destroy the fertility of the soil where people usually farm. We lose lives, properties, and the fertility of our land, a whole village was down within few minutes and many families were broken just within the glimpse of an eye. It creates a difficult time to us  and left us in anxiety and fear looking around to see from which side the third one isgoing to come from. The question that first came to my mind was that; when did these terrorists have the chance to own this kind of sophisticated weapons and where is the authority?… But unfortunately, the attack came from a part of the NIGERIAN MILITARY, I was shocked! And   asked further; but why?,what is our offence? I was then  answered ; ‘ it was a mistake’. I could not say anything because this is what my senses cannot accept. The Nigerian Military men bombing innocent people and it is said to be a mistake? We are not kids!

And it is not anything that come into your heads that you will tell us because we also have sense just the way you think youhave it. The political system of this country has totally failed us, now even the military kill us without any reason?. There arequestions I want to ask;

‘’Why is everyone’s eye on the NORTH?.,

Why do you always try your merciless behaviors on the people of the NORTH?

Why did you always kill the NORTHERNERS???

I need an urgent answer to these questions!

The intelligence in the military is now fading away and the trust we have on the military is also reducing. The life of a single innocent Nigerian is worth dying for not to talk of a whole village with hundreds of people  in it.

It always pain me when this kind of animal behavior happen in the NORTH and our leaders keep quiet, I always fail to understand who are they afraid of? What is it going to happen to them if they get up to fight for their people? What is wrong with our leaders? 0r are they trying to tell me that they do not know about all these? If our leaders cannot say even a word when we are killed, then what are they for? Just occupying position andtitles?? And who told them that was the reason why we voted for them? Please  we are tired!

We are not ants, we are human beings and our lives should be respected and protected no matter what. I am calling upon the Nigerian Government and the Military to take measures on this and pay the families that were victims of this. My fear is when the NORTHERNERS start to take law into their hands which is not going to be funny.
