Lady Slumps on altar, dies during Sunday Mass
The president described her death as a ‘great loss’ not only to her parish, but to the entire members of the Armed Forces Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria in general.
An identified lady, Peace Salama Yakubu, has slumped on an altar while taking a responsorial psalm in Sunday Mass Celebration.
Cletus Agbo, the parish youth president, made this known to this reporter via a telephone call.
According to him, “Peace Yakubu, who was rushed to the hospital was confirmed death at the Armed Forces Specialist Hospital, Kano.”
He continued: “untill her demise, she was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic church, 73 Battalion, Janguza Barracks, Kano State.”
The president described her death as a ‘great loss’ not only to her parish, but to the entire members of the Armed Forces Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria in general.
The psalm had the theme, “The precepts of the Lord are right; they gladden the heart.”
It would be recall that the deceased was a member of her parish choir and Armed Forces Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria (AFCYON).
