My Commitment to ABPFEON Unshakable -By Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo
It’s universal notion that “leadership comes with its own responsibilities”, and for the time I have been the President of this Association, I have single handedly champion the cause of this great industry by sacrificing my time and my resources amidst division among members and separatist agenda of some stakeholders.
I will like to appreciate every members and stakeholders of this great Association of Beauty Pageants and Fashion Exhibition Organizers of Nigeria as a whole for their believe in me and their contribution to the growth and advancement of our great Nation.
I also want to thank all my team who believed in me and stakeholders who stood by me during my reign and even those aggressived members, I say thank you all
My commitment to the growth of pageant industry and progress of this Association is unshakable.
With over 21 years experience in pageant industry in Nigeria, I remain the only pageant Organisers that has supported and encouraged more than 100 pageant CEO’s across the Nation and in Diaspora.
And also, as the founding President of this Association, it will be unfair for anyone to believe that I Hon Ejiro doesn’t want this body to grow, against this odd, I have decided to clear the air and set the record straight.
It’s universal notion that “leadership comes with its own responsibilities”, and for the time I have been the President of this Association, I have single handedly champion the cause of this great industry by sacrificing my time and my resources amidst division among members and separatist agenda of some stakeholders.
Let me proceed by setting the record straight;
1. I emerged as the National President of this great Association in 2014 through a free and fair Democratic Election by stakeholders of pageant industry across Nigeria at the National Election which held in Abuja.
2. And only a democratic election can unseat me as the National President of the Association, thus, I reaffirm my commitment and support to various stakeholders efforts to organize a national election that will bring in a New leadership to take over from where we are now.
3. And untill the election is conducted and a winner emerged, I still remain the National leader of our great association (ABPFEON), as such, I deserved to be accorded with all the honor and privileges as the cup bearer of our unitary body, who has sacrifice his time and resources to carry the burden of this alone all this years .
4. As against the rumors and lies been perpetrated by some egoistic interest to bring me down in a bid for them to be relevant and to be seen as the “Savior”, my advice for you is to watch your back, because “Kama will catch up with you soon”
5. I have no grudges against any members of this great association, I am fully committed to see that this industry moves forward, therefore, anything it takes to ensure a successful election for this great association will have my unflinching support
6. And on the call for stakeholders meeting by some members to aid the plan for the election, I am totally in support of it as soon as possible, as I believe this will help to reintegrate and unite every group within the group, member within the member and caucus within the caucus together as one.
7. I also want to use this medium to urge all members and stakeholders of this Association to be steadfast in love for one another, because without love there will be no unity.
8. And above all , We must learn from the mistake of the past in other for us to make a meaningful progress today and in the future. now I urge all pageant owners across the nation to register now to become a member so u can also be allowed to vote or vote for as the new president/ other positions.
Thanks you all
Long Live ABPFEON,
Long Live All the Committed/ Loyal Members,
Long Live Nigeria
God Bless you all.
Hon. Ejiro Okpihwo
ABPFEON,
National President
