Nasarawa Abductions: Kidnappers Demand N50m Ransom as Women Plead for Rescue
Kidnappers in Nasarawa demand ₦50m ransom for two abducted women, including a pastor’s wife and nursing mother who cried for help over separation from her 3-month-old baby. Families urge urgent rescue.

Kidnappers holding two women abducted on Sunday night in Nasarawa State are demanding ₦50 million ransom for their release.
A family source in Lafia confirmed that the women have endured severe hardship since they were taken by gunmen suspected to be kidnappers.
One of the victims, the wife of a pastor, was abducted along with a church member. She is a nursing mother with a three-month-old baby and has reportedly been traumatized by her health challenges, the exhausting treks through the forest, and the harsh treatment meted out by her captors.
“She is seriously worried about her health and the separation from her three-month-old baby. The hostile environment and the inhumane treatment pose a serious threat to her survival,” the source disclosed.
In a distressing plea overheard during captivity, the victim cried: “My baby, my baby… please, who will help me out of this calamity? Somebody please help me out of this forest of pain.”
Her husband and relatives remain in deep anguish as the abductors insist on the huge ransom before her release. Sympathisers have appealed to security agencies and relevant authorities to act swiftly to secure the victims’ freedom.
Meanwhile, in a separate development, Dr. Muhammed Egye Osolafia, Special Assistant to Governor Abdullahi Sule on Humanitarian Services, who was also kidnapped on Sunday night, has regained his freedom.
