On Festus Adedayo’s questioning of Tinubu’s certificate and the trailing reactions… -By John Oyebanji

Have you ever wondered if Tinubu resigned before he was caught, same as what Chima could have done just some years ago? If Chima Igwe resigned two years ago, we will refer to him as having worked as FIRO boss, and the question on his certificate might be overlooked.

Festus Adedayo came up with a question every right-thinking and patriotic Nigerian has an inalienable right to ask.

It has been in the public space before now on the inexistence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s acclaimed primary school, the unavailability of evidence to prove GCI as his secondary school and nothing to indicate that he attended his acclaimed university overseas.

The anti-Festus positions were bothered around how Tinubu could be employed as an accountant in an existing oil company before he “resigned” to politics, if he had no training, which can only be gotten in the university community.

I would have accepted this position as logical, if a Chima Igwe hadn’t been in existence. For the records, Chima Igwe was a former Acting Director-General of the Federal Institute of Industrial Research Oshodi (FIRO), who was indicted for a PhD certificate fraud.

He had worked with such for 18 years. You read that right? EIGHTEEN YEARS, before some people “forcefully” raised the suspicion.

Who’s Bola Ahmed Tinubu that cannot do that? After all this is Nigeria.

Have you ever wondered if Tinubu resigned before he was caught, same as what Chima could have done just some years ago? If Chima Igwe resigned two years ago, we will refer to him as having worked as FIRO boss, and the question on his certificate might be overlooked.

It would have been more logical if instead of refuting questions, you brought out the verifiable copies of the certificates. Next time, you don’t try to rubbish people’s criticality by your illogicalities. Abi you think all of us are dumb?
