Let’s now go the reverse bend!!

I watched the interview Peter Obi had with the Arise TV crew of Rufai and Tundun, and I’ll tell you that he needs to do better…

I’m aware that I’ve got many wonderful readers of mine who saw nothing wrong in his interview but I disagree! However, if you want to follow my details, you’re welcome to my view…

Four critical questions took my interest. I’m the least interested in the kwakwanso story. Kwakwanso is not much of a factor in this election I’m sorry. So that wasn’t my interest…

Like I earlier said, four questions. What were they? He was specifically asked questions about his manifesto, he was asked about how he’d tackle the fuel subsidy, he was about he would solve the port congestion and he was also asked about how he’d settle the issue of security. I’m sorry to say this, he dodged these questions. Please if you felt I was wrong, you can help me out with his specific answers…

On the issue of Manifesto and putting his programs in black and white. He bluntly refused. He went into what he had done before when he was in Anambra. This didn’t sound right to me..I must commend Rufai because he was specific on Obi putting his thoughts in a paper..I didn’t find his answers fair enough.

He was asked about specifically on how he’d solve the Electrical power problem. He didn’t answer in specifics. Instead he went into what’s going on in Egypt and Morocco power stuffs. He gave us various statistics on the amount of power those countries are generating in relation to our own. That’s good for Academics but in real practical sense to Nigerian situation, I didn’t get it..

I needed him to tell us how he’d solve in specific terms our power generation, our power transmission and our power distribution.

How would he deal with the Power Generation companies? How would he deal with the power distribution companies? These guys already have some dubious contractual agreement with the FG. He didn’t say anything in such regard..We’ve got coal in Enugu. Germany is using coal now. How would he solve that? How would he harness our gas for power? What are his plans for renewable energy? I didn’t hear nothing. It’s good to tell me about Egypt but how do you solve our issues in specific terms? 🤷🏾‍♂️

He was asked about Petrol subsidy and how he’d solve it. He was even reminded that Labor had gone on strike on numerous occasions because of this. After so much reeling of statistics, he was brought back to that fact.

He was forced to admit that he’d remove subsidy but he said he’d show Nigerians what the money saved would be used for. Haaa!! Babangida, Abacha, IBB and even Jonathan said so, yet the labor went on strike for this…

I thought he was even going to talk about NNPC being a drain pipe and how he’d deal with it. He didn’t!! However he went with his usual statistics that ain’t, I’m sorry, specific to the issues…

When he was pressed on our ports and the logistics there-off, he just used the Buhari style that mentioned body language..Haba!!

I’d love to hear anyone who felt he was specific to just let me know Peter Obi’s specific programs and solutions in this respect…

Channels needs to bring in Omoyele Sowore and Kachukwu into this kind of discussion too.. Let’s hear their views too and it must be in specifics…
