Political Backpedaling By Some Suleja Local Government Youths In Connection With 2023 General Election -By Abdulfatah Adamu
Tracing back to 2015 General election, we the youths deluded ourselves in the belief that we are politically and more sophisticated than we had been, we told ourselves that a new generation of voters had come of age who will not continue to rest in eternal political slavery.
It’s said and I quote ” One good turn deserves another”. Wholeheartedly, I accept the prior mentioned opined Colloquial English. But I, for one, agreed to dispute the recycling of an inarticulate, afloat, adrift, vision loss, and Development impairment political front-runner. ( albeit, my opinion)
It’s disheartening seeing our youth stooping low and as well administered the sing out of a pathological political regalia who lacked and has no political scorecard of his previous incumbrance to redail his contest to the office he confounded and poorly managed. ( this I call a dried joke by Contender and his dazzling cohorts pretenders ) this came up because we have stood too long on the side-lines and too many of us has adopted the cynical attitude “since you can’t beat them you join them”.

We were certain that our missions and of our succeeding generations who will have no future will be Secured and glow in progressive atmosphere by our todays intolerance with the kind of politics and politicians which excesses had unleashed that Armageddon on defenseless people. And to cap it all, Boom! we entrust power to politicians who promised to correct abysmal Failure and social abuses of their predecessors by setting it right, But later suffered compound deceit by same politicians we dashed our fates to.
Pitifully, the Sudden cried out to this same inept politicians by some of our youth shows that the only thing we learn from experience is that we learn nothing from experience. And the reason for this forgetfulness is we have turned out to be like a bunch of stage clowns who bump their heads into the same heavy obstacle again and again because we are too stupid to remember what hit us only a short while ago.
My fellow youths arise else, our inaction or cynical actions will be a serious betrayal of our struggle and education.
