Political Bipolar Disorder To Our Present Society -By Achimugwu Akwu

The political spheres is an arena where infrastructures is been driven to various set of administration from federal, state, and local level but it keep depreciating and disheartening due to incapability of leaders that is been set in the political system this has given individual or set of individuals to syphon funds that belong to infrastructures such as pipe borne water, electricity, road network, Schools, hospital, and many more in the name improper monitoring and supervising.

The society has come to realized that law can only work on common man in the society whereby the well to do set of tycoons can do and undo in activities of their endeavors.

Nigeria at large claimed to practice independent structures but unfortunately its dependant solely. The Nigeria political system has become a national cake that everyone wishes to partake in it because they see it as a means of getting income, the corrupt system that has emerged since time immemorial has been a critical issue that is pressing and hitting hard deeper than diver on the Nigerian citizens.

Politics refers to the activities, actions, and debates within a society that involve the governance, administration, and decision-making processes. It encompasses the activities of government officials, political parties, and citizens in shaping policies, laws, and regulations.
Politics helps a country in several ways:

Representation: Politics ensures that citizens have a voice in government through elections and representatives of elected officials.

Policy-making: Political processes enable the creation, implementation, and evaluation of policies that address societal needs, such as healthcare, education, and infrastructure.

Stability: Political systems provide a framework for resolving conflicts, maintaining order, and ensuring the smooth functioning of society.

Accountability: Through politics, leaders and institutions are held accountable for their actions and decisions, promoting transparency and trust in government.

Progress: Politics facilitates social and economic progress by fostering innovation, addressing inequalities, and promoting sustainable development.

Overall, politics plays a vital role in shaping the direction and future of a country by facilitating governance, representation, and the pursuit of collective interests.

The above points seem to be benefits that the citizens gain from a sound political independent practices but it’s quite unfortunate in the case of Nigeria systems that the politicians has failed woefully in represent their constituency because they believed that aspiring the political sitting is act of not lacking anything again for their family and relatives.
Therefore on these piece craving indulgence of concerned patriotic and Nigeria politicians to adhere to the public interests not only to considered the publics during campaigns and grant them pre-emptied promises for political reasons.
