Political Hoodlums Attack Home Of Former Rivers’ Servicing Senator
They were said to have destroyed about five cars while three persons in the compound, including Senator Maeba’s relative, ran to different places for safety.
A score of political thugs have attacked the residence of Mr Lee Maeba in Port Harcourt,Rivers state destroying some of his property.
Reports say the thugs invaded the ex lawmaker home in the GRA, Phase 3 axis of Port Harcourt shooting sporadically and destroying cars parked in his garage.
It was gathered that the hoodlums numbering over 200 emerged from a nearby street, shot at the entrance of the house and eventually broke into the former Senator’s compound.
They were said to have destroyed about five cars while three persons in the compound, including Senator Maeba’s relative, ran to different places for safety.
Maeba is the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State and he is at loggerheads with Rivers state governor, Nyesom Wike who has openly kicked against the National Chairman retaining power since the Alhaji Atiku Abubakar emerged as the party standardbearer .
