Sin Will Not Take Away Your Ability To Use A Computer Or Drive A Car But… -By Joe Dauda

In spite of the fact that the credentials of every man of God for these days is the working of miracles – whether real or fake – the fact is that the craze for signs and wonders is preparing the world for the revelation of the Antichrist.

But it has nothing to do with you. This is an aspect of God’s character – not taking what He has given you – and it is taught in the Bible in the following words.

Romans 11:29

“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”

The truism of this doctrine is obvious. Sin does not make you shorter if you were already gifted with height; sin does not make your biceps smaller – except you stop exercising or doing what made them bigger in the first place – and sin really does not turn you from a proficient driver to a person who can no longer drive. Of course sin can affect you in some ways. But I am sure you get the point.

What is true of you is true of angels; and even fallen angels, including their chief, whom the Bible calls Lucifer, Satan, the devil, the dragon, the adversary, and the accuser of the brethren, etc.

Let’s take the issue of miracles for example. A miracle can be described as a supernatural event. And that description is perfect for the point I want to make. It is not natural for a person to stop rain from falling. But you probably have heard and seen that there are some families who worship certain gods (demons) who have power to restrain rain. This proves that Satan has power over the clouds. And the Bible justifies this deduction. After seeking permission from God to antagonize Job, Satan played with the elements of the weather and, although the person reporting one of Job’s calamities to him referred to the fire that fell from heaven as “the fire of God” even the laziest Bible student realizes that that so-called “fire of God” was actually from Satan. Note that Satan made fire come down from heaven.

To understand the power of an angel, and how superior angels are to humans, there is an account in the Bible where a single angel destroyed a hundred and eighty-five thousand enemy soldiers, on behalf of the children of Israel. That should tell you that angels and humans do not belong in the same league. And Satan is an angel.

There were some other instances were Satan showed what he is capable of, in spite of being a fallen angel, an enemy of God and a tempter of the children of God. Note that this means God has not taken away from Satan the ability to do these things, even though Satan is a rebel. You will soon see the horrible implication of this matter especially in these last days.

When Moses had his second meeting with Pharaoh and performed the miraculous sign God had put in his hand, the magicians of Egypt, under the auspices of Satan, attempted to replicate the miracle of God. Although God showed that He was the Boss, note that these magicians were able to turn their rods into snakes – just like Moses had done.

Exodus 7:11-12
[11]Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
[12]For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.

So the fact is established: Satan can work miracles.

Why is this knowledge important in these last days?

Christianity is a religion of miracles. If a non-Christian journalist were to read the Bible and summarize it as a Book of Miracles, he would not be far from the truth. The creation of the world was a miracle; the parting of the Red Sea was an amazing miracle. Even the birth of Jesus Christ by a virgin was a biology-defying miracle cannot be explained in human terms. In case you did not know, it was through miracles that Jesus Christ established His claims as the Son of God.

John 2:23
“Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did.”

Even John the Baptist had to be told about the miracles of Jesus Christ to restore his faith that Jesus Christ was the promised Messiah.

Matthew 11:2-5
“Now when John heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples, And said unto Him, Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another? Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see: The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.”

As a matter of fact, to leave no room for doubt, Jesus Christ Himself pointed to His miracles (His works) as evidence that He was Who He claimed to be.

John 14:11
“Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works’ sake.”

If miracles are so important in the Christian religion (and especially so in establishing the credentials of a person claiming to be on the LORD’s side) why do we have a passage like this in the Bible?

Matthew 7:21-23
“Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

To cut the long story short, there will be a shower of miracles in the last days – all performed by Satan – but not necessarily in the name of Satan. As you can see from above, at least some Christians  will be working miracles in the name of Jesus Christ, even though He does not know them, and even though they are workers of iniquity, and even though none of their miracles are fake, nor do they even seem to be hypocrites, for they were surprised to be denied entrance into the kingdom of God. Note: anyone who refers to Jesus Christ as Lord must be a Christian. If that is enough evidence, anyone who tries to perform miracles by calling upon the name of Jesus Christ must be a Christian. So Matthew 7:21-23, as horrible as the destiny of these people ended up to be, is talking about very serious Christians.

Here is the prophetic authority for the above position that there will be a shower of miracles by Satan in these last days.

Revelation 13:13
“And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men, and deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do . . .”

How will the earth be deceived?

By the means of miracles?

Who will be performing these miracles?

The beast, sponsored by Satan.

Do you remember that the Bible refers to Satan as a dragon?

Revelation 13:4
“And they worshipped the dragon which gave unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?”

What am I saying, in summary?

In spite of the fact that the credentials of every man of God for these days is the working of miracles – whether real or fake – the fact is that the craze for signs and wonders is preparing the world for the revelation of the Antichrist.

Beware of miracles!

Even miracles in the name of Jesus Christ.

The only hint I will give you is this: Satan will be working miracles in the last days. And Satan, according to Revelation 12:17, only reserves his anger against those who keep the commandments of God. This has to be the whole Ten Commandments because Satan knows that, based on James 2:10-12, breaking one is equivalent to breaking all. So note that Satan’s anger is not against those performing miracles in the last days for he is the sponsor of miracles in the last days – to a very large extent. According to that Bible in your drawer, it is those who keep the commandments of God that the dragon will be angry with. I have given you all the expo you need to know that the mark of the beast will have something to do with the commandments of God.

Which commandments of God have the Christian world been deceived to break without a guilty conscience?

As I have been saying for some time now, there are only two commandments in the Ten that are subjects of controversy in the whole of Christendom — the second commandment forbidding image worship, and the fourth commanding Sabbath observance. Satan’s last days anger cannot be directed against the Roman Catholics, who deny the second commandment in order to “venerate images”, nor can it be directed against 99.9% of Protestants, who believe the second commandment but trample upon the fourth. Interestingly, those that keep the Ten Commandments in these last days do so because they are aided by prophecy to understand that, although the Bible prophesied a change in the commandment of “time” (and the Sabbath commandment is the only commandment that has anything to do with time) it was not God that made the change but an enemy of God nicknamed the little horn.

Note: the enemies of Satan keep the commandments of God and are especially enabled in doing this because of the knowledge of prophecy.

Well guess what?

There are two characteristics of those the Bible says Satan would be angry with in the last days. Read the quotation below in your Bible so you would not think I made this up. These people keep the commandments of God and are said to have the testimony of Jesus Christ. But, guess what? The Bible eventually defined the testimony of Jesus Christ as the spirit of prophecy.

It can’t be clearer than this.

Revelation 12:17
“And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

Revelation 19:10
“The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

If you are not part of the Christians identified above in Revelation 12:17, Satan is happy with you.

What is your relationship with the commandments of God?

That is what determines whether or not Satan is angry with you.

Deep in their hearts, everybody knows where they stand on this matter.

May God have mercy on all of us.
