The Almighty Allah: The Lord of Enthronement And Dethroment -By Sheu Sa’ad Kolobo

For every appointment, surely there would be a disappointment, God is the only one who Has no point of limitation and can never be overthrown nor dethrone. He assigned anyone whom He wants, out of his own will; and unthrone any human being He wishes, this is what Allah Has ordained unto human beings.

Dethronement is opposite of enthronement, the quality of both words belongs to Almighty Allah, the lord of the universe, the usage of these words is not restricted to monarchical positions, nevertheless, both are for Allah and he has assigned whom He wants in every position.

Enthronement is an act of assigning into a governing position either for a short period of time or for so many years, depend on God’s wishes for mankind; irrespective of position or the post you are occupying in this world, your presence in that position is not permanent, is either you are being dethroned by mere human beings like you or the Almighty Allah dethrone you compulsorily through death.

For every appointment, surely there would be a disappointment, God is the only one who Has no point of limitation and can never be overthrown nor dethrone. He assigned anyone whom He wants, out of his own will; and unthrone any human being He wishes, this is what Allah Has ordained unto human beings.

Oh, you leaders of today! I just want to let you know that you are just privileged to be in that position; either you are the President of a country, the King of a town, the Vice-Chancellor of the University, my candid advice for you is to use your power wisely, this is because you maybe not be there tomorrow and this would happen either your tenure has elapsed or the death dethrones you from the position. Some followers would be abusing their leaders; whereas, you also failed to perform your duty in your house. What you don’t understand is that it’s your responsibility to take care of them and avoid being selfish and make sure you consult your followers in every decision you want to take, this would serve as a reward for you in this life and hereafter.

Let me draw your attention to this, all mortals shall taste death, put it at the back of your mind that no position is permanent if you do good by helping others, while on that position if you are not there again, another person would help your own children and if you do otherwise, the consequences of this act would not be good.

For example, Bukola Saraki who ruled the Kwara State dynasty for 16years is no more in power again! it’s the will of Allah that, he would be dethroned by-election; all the things he has done during his administration either good or bad would surely be his reward now and his own case would serve as a lesson for some leaders who think that all conditions are permanent.

The most pathetic part of every position is that today you may be lucky to have power over others and tomorrow you may not be there again. Either by relegation or deaths which would deny that person from attaining any leadership position, which is out of his or her desire. What remains for you after you leave that position is your good deeds and the kind behavior you have shown to your followers while you are in control of power.

Yoruba people say “Ibaje ojokan kii tan logun odun” an indiscretion of one day cannot be forgotten in twenty years.(Maintain a guard and good reputation). Where is Aba Kyari and Lamido Sanusi? three months ago, one of them was the Chief of Staff and the other was an Emir of Kanu. Today none of them occupies any position. In fact, one of them is no more.

Oh, you leaders of today! regardless of any position, you may be, try all your best to put the fear of God in your mind. This life is dynamic and no one is free from its dynamism. Let your humble and magnanimity explain who you are because the dethronement of these two legends (Lamido Sanusi and Aba Kyari) is a warning to all the leaders of today; use your position wisely to get a reward in this life and hereafter.
