The Discussion We Have Been Avoiding -By Francis Nwokike
Men and women who promote such ignoble behavior/ and encouraging workers to abscond from work because they’re searching for miracle should be questioned.
Is it morally right for workers, business men and women, artisans, students, etc, who are expected to go to work/school on Wednesday (or any work/school day) to leave such work or their business to attend a religious program same period they’re supposed to be look for their daily bread or doing justice to what they’re paid for monthly?
Why haven’t we had this discussion?
Like, as a public servant under the payroll of government, instead of going to work, I’ll choose to go for adoration or any other religious program for that matter that will start the same time my work which I’m paid for monthly is expected to commence and the program close when I’m supposed to be closing from work.
Is this right?
Is something not wrong with us as a people?
Is some of this religious institutions not promoting immoral behaviour and encouraging bad attitude among workers?
Is it because we’re in Nigeria?
We should start telling ourselves the truth.
God cannot approve of such behavior.
Frankly speaking, it’s wrong and should be revolted against.
There is time for everything.
Men and women who promote such ignoble behavior/ and encouraging workers to abscond from work because they’re searching for miracle should be questioned.
I don’t think a true man of God will encourage such.
Morality is dead in Nigeria. Only few people still knows the meaning.
