The Increment from N86.50 to N145 of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) Otherwise Known As Petrol, By The Present Administration Of President Buhari Has Clearly Shown That This Government Is Blatantly Tactless and A Prolific Hypocrite’s❗

“African leaders are pathetic and I think they need recolonizations”~ Donald Trump

“Stealing is not corruption. Stealing is stealing”~ President Goodluck Jonathan
A statement the president made then trying to illumine the public on the meaning of corruption and stealing. When you say someone steal(a thief) people take it more serious than when you say the person is corrupt as corruption is an ambiguous words with complex definition. So,
“Stealing is not corruption. Stealing is stealing”
Let’s call a spade a spade.
Let’s call a thief a thief.
A statement the opposition then took personal and reframed with their media propaganda to deceive the populace saying that GEJ said when you steal you are not corrupt.

Putting the quote in my own way,
“Lying is not propaganda. Lying is lying”~ Bamidele Williams
Let’s call a liar a liar. PMB and his teams have lied in the name of propaganda.
They are liars!

This was the same subsidy that GEJ tried to remove in 2012 that made the then opposition parties team up with the civil society to form the #OccupyNigeria campaign even after GEJ made consultations before removing the subsidy; now out of the blues, the APC government under Tyrant Buhari just went ahead and announced subsidy removal without any consultation.

From N86 a litre to N145 a litre, this is the highest increase in fuel pump price by any Nigerian government in the country’s history with a N59 increment. It is far higher than the N20 increment which Dr Goodluck Jonathan proposed in 2012 which hypocritical change crusaders like Bakare, Utomi, Falana,Nasir El-Rufai Tinubu, Soyinka, etc. All opposed but are now dumb in this harsher times. And their supporters are here confusing themselves all in an effort to defend and justify their anti-people, wicked and unacceptable politics. Under Buhari’s watch,Nigeria and Nigerians are crying for help!

As far as I know,
removal of subsidy is a step by step process; pass an act of National Assembly to deregulate the downstream, among others before making it official.

With an over 6trillion naira budget that cannot cater for subsidy of around 500billion then it means there’s something wrong somewhere with the fraudulent budget.

To all those supporting the subsidy removal may I let you all know that subsidy removal means the price of fuel would now sell at market prices. In effect if the price of oil shoots up to all-time highs there’s no way you can expect to buy fuel cheap because no one in the value-chain from the refineries to the importers/marketers would ever sell at a loss.

With an economy in bad shape already and inflation on the high side rather than fixing the refineries first APC and Buhari have gone ahead to remove subsidy and yet would say nothing about the 56000 minimum wage making hard times in Nigeria official. Anyway God pass them sha.

To those that went and occupied to eat paid-for rice and dance in Ojota in 2012, let me remind you that Ojota is still there. When GEJ wanted to take the same step then,
Occupy Nigeria: NLC, TUC among others took to the street for a week with APC shouting at the top of their voice calling it arrant nonsense and saying there is nothing like subsidy!

The only problem I have with GEJ then is that removal of subsidy while people like Madam Diezani are on board, I don’t trust him enough with the savings that would come from the subsidy removal.

The only thing I see in the removal is that no more scamming from the marketers.
No more holding the government to ransom because of the subsidy. But not in this period.
The Capitalists have won The Socialists have lost.

Another question is why did it take so long? Why did Mr. President waste 500billions in 2015 when this was clearly an expenditure that could not be sustained.

If I understand my mathematics very well, this is
over 70 per cent increment.
On the struggling masses?

I still remember very well when they were seeking votes from Nigerians, they promised to reduce petrol pump price from N87 to N45 per litre, create three million jobs per year, $1 will be equal to N1 and lest I forget above all, they promised to pay unemployed youths N5, 000 stipend and provide one meal a day to pupils nationwide.

Instead of them looking for a way to fulfill their promises, they went ahead to increase petrol pump price to N145 per litre, increased electricity tariffs, retrenched thousands of workers and imposed unforseen hardships on the masses.
PROLIFIC LIARS!

Let TUC, NLC and other labour leaders, stand up for the masses at this time again, and if they fail to posterity will not forgive them!

The FG should provide efficient public transport via buses and trains as obtained in developed and some developing countries before embarking on relentless merciless fuel price increment when over 80% of the populace will be affected by such measures.

Let Tinubu, Fashola, Dino Melaye and our remaining “chanji” chanters lead the Occupy carnival again if at all we will agree.

“Government afraid of its people – Democracy.
People afraid of it’s government – Tyranny” ~ Thomas Jefferson

We are losing our sense of Democracy under the dictatorial watch of Buhari and some people are jubilating on the said cancellation of the protest.

I shake my head
